Water Resources Minister Shri Silavat participated in Jal Ganga Samvardhan Abhiyan in Eentkhedi

Bhopal: Water Resources Minister Shri Tulsiram Silawat participated in the cleaning, beautification and water conservation program at the Visarjan Ghat of Banganga River in Eintkhedi under Jal Ganga Sanvardhan Abhiyan. He paid tribute to the martyrs at Balidan Smarak and remembered their sacrifice and martyrdom.
MLA Mr. Vishnu Khatri, District Panchayat President Mr. Mohan Singh Jat, District Panchayat President Mr. Pramod Rajput, Sarpanch Mr. Hari Singh Saini, Mr. Tirath Singh Meena, CEO District Panchayat Mrs. Ila Tiwari and officers were present in the program.
Minister Shri Silavat requested for cooperation in the campaign to fulfill the resolve of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi and Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav for water conservation. He said that Prime Minister Shri Modi had talked about the need for Jal Ganga Samvardhan and conservation for 13 minutes in the ‘Mann Ki Baat’ program. It is necessary to conserve water for the future, because nothing is possible without water.
Minister Shri Silavat called for this work to be done with a mass movement. He said that Shramdaan should be included in the daily routine in the village, district, state and country. There are 70 Amrit Sarovars in Berasia Assembly, which have to be developed. He also urged to plant ‘one tree in the name of mother’.
Shri Silawat requested to ensure everyone’s participation in the Jal Ganga Sanvardhan Abhiyan running from 30 March to 30 June. He asked all sections to participate in water conservation works. He also urged for Shramdaan for the conservation of water sources at historical and religious places. He said that the progress of work should be visible on the ground and strict action will be taken against those who are negligent in the work. He also directed to completely remove encroachments on water sources.
