Today, Municipal Corporation Chairman Suryakant Rathore directly inspected the drain cleaning in the area of ​​Shaheed Hemu Kalani Ward No. 28 under Zone 2 in the presence of Ward Councilor Mrs. Kritika Jain, Zone 2 Zone Commissioner Dr. R.K. Dongre, Executive Engineer P.D. Dhrtlahare, Zone Health Officer Ravi Lavania and other concerned officials and gave necessary instructions. The Chairman has directed the Zone 2 Zone Commissioner to get the improvement and repair work done as per practical requirements in the drain near Narayana Hospital and other drains of the zone area and to approve Rs 3 lakh under the maintenance head from the zone office. The Chairman has directed to get the jammed big drain of Devendra Nagar Sector – 2 cleaned. To solve the problem of water logging near Devendra Nagar Police Station, immediate notice has been issued to the operators of two shops built on the drain and instructions have been given to ask for the documents of the shops for examination and investigation. Chairman Suryakant Rathore has directed to get the drain of Old Bus Stand Pandri main road cleaned with a small Pokelin machine and to establish smooth drainage before the rains by breaking the slabs made on the drain and cleaning the bottom of the drain. Chairman has given instructions to send a manual cleaning team to all the lanes of small drains in Durga Nagar.
During inspection, residents of Durga Nagar complained to Chairman Suryakant Rathore that a businessman who has purchased a lease there has illegally occupied the bore of Raipur Municipal Corporation and has closed the bore of the corporation. Chairman has instructed the Zone Commissioner to get the bore vacated and started and provide water to the residents of Durga Nagar. The Chairman has directed the Zone Commissioner and Zone Health Officer to get the drain cleaned by breaking the illegal partition made by a big mall operator on the drain behind the mall in Pandri Cloth Market. The Chairman has directed to prepare a proposal for construction of drain from Pandri Cloth Market to Madhu Pille School in the area of ​​Ward No. 28 to solve the problem of water logging.
