Waqf land will now be spent for the welfare of poor Muslims, CM Dhami makes a big announcement

BJP is going to start Waqf Janjagran Abhiyan, through which a clear message will be given that the rights of the poor will be given only to the poor. Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami said this in the workshop of Waqf Amendment Janjagran Abhiyan organized at the state headquarters of the party. He said that the government will ensure that the properties of Waqf are used for the welfare of the poor, backward Muslim community and sisters. He also said that every inch of land of the Waqf Board in the state will be investigated and monitored, without interfering in any religious matter. BJP National General Secretary, State In-charge and member of the Central Committee related to Waqf Amendment, Dushyant Gautam, who attended the workshop, said that houses will be built for poor Muslim women under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana on the Waqf lands which will be freed from illegal occupation. Full information was given about this campaign running from 20 April to 5 May. This program was conducted by State General Secretary Aditya Kothari. He said that we have to convey the information of this historic law to every section of the society, so that the people of Muslim society can also understand how this change will improve their lives. The workshop was held in two parts. In the first part, Chief Minister Dhami explained the role of the government and in the second session, Dushyant Gautam discussed all the legal, social and political aspects related to this law.

On this occasion, CM Dhami said that under the leadership of Prime Minister Modi, such historic and time-changing decisions are being taken in the country, which were earlier only in imagination. The Waqf Amendment Act is also one such step which is linked with the thinking of brotherhood, equality and justice in all religions. He said that earlier PM Modi removed Section 370, implemented CAA, got Ram temple constructed and ended a big social evil like triple talaq. Similarly, this amendment is also in the interest of the country and society. The CM made it clear that this law will curb those who were misusing the Waqf properties and the poor, divorced and widowed women, orphan children and the needy will get the most benefit from it. Taking a dig at the opposition, the Chief Minister asked that when the Waqf has so much property, why has it not been used properly to help the poor till now? He asked the party workers to spread the information about this law from house to house, so that the efforts of the opposition to mislead the people can fail. CM Dhami informed that about 5700 Waqf properties are registered in the state. Their complete record will be prepared and investigation will be done. He said that if illegal occupation is found anywhere, the government will take strict action. He also reminded that his government has already brought UCC, anti-conversion and anti-riot laws to maintain the culture and population balance of the state. Now the Waqf Amendment Act will also be implemented with full force in Devbhoomi so that no poor is deprived of his rights.
