Voting will be held in three phases, more than 1 crore 58 lakh voters will exercise their franchise

Three-tier Panchayat General Election 2025
Raipur 16 February 2025: Voting will be held in three phases on 17 February, 20 February and 23 February for the three-tier Panchayat General Election 2025. Under the three-tier Panchayat, elections will be held in three phases for a total of 1 lakh 75 thousand 258 posts including 433 posts of District Panchayat members, 2973 posts of Janpad Panchayat members, 11,671 posts of Gram Panchayat (Sarpanch) and 1 lakh 60 thousand 161 posts of Ward (Panch). In which a total of 1 crore 58 lakh 12 thousand 580 voters including 78 lakh 20 thousand 202 male voters, 79 lakh 92 thousand 184 female voters and 194 other voters will vote in the three-tier Panchayat General Election 2025. The State Election Commission has prepared a photo electoral roll for all the voters. A total of 31,041 polling stations have been set up for the Panchayat general elections, out of which 7,128 are sensitive and 2,161 are highly sensitive polling stations.
