Bhopal. Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar was welcomed by Minister in Waiting Minister of State Mrs. Pratima Bagri on his arrival in Chitrakoot of Satna district today. She welcomed the Vice President by presenting a bouquet of flowers.
On this occasion, Vice President Mr. Dhankhar was also welcomed by Labor Minister of Uttar Pradesh Government Anil Rajwar, Minister of State (Independent Charge) Backward Class Welfare Narendra Kashyap, Mayor Satna Yogesh Tamrakar, Nagar Panchayat President Sadhana Patel, Commissioner Rewa B.S. Jamod, IG Vineet Khanna, DIG Saket Prakash Pandey, Collector Anurag Verma and Superintendent of Police Ashutosh Gupta at the helipad by presenting a bouquet of flowers.
Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar paid floral tribute to the statue of Bharat Ratna Rashtra Rishi Nanaji Deshmukh located at Arogya Dham in Chitrakoot. On this occasion, Principal Secretary of Deendayal Research Institute, Mr. Atul Jain presented a statue of Lord Shri Ganesh to the Vice President and his wife. Vice President Shri Dhankhar and his wife also planted a sapling in the Deendayal Research Institute campus in memory of their mother in the “Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam” campaign. After this, Vice President Shri Dhankhar left by road to attend the program organized at Jagatguru Rambhadracharya Divyang Rajya Vishwavidyalaya in Chitrakoot, Uttar Pradesh.
Emotional farewell given to the Vice President
After attending the national seminar organized in Chitrakoot, Uttar Pradesh, Vice President Shri Jagdeep Dhankhar returned to Chitrakoot by a special army helicopter and left for Prayagraj by helicopter at 5 pm.
