bhopal: Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar inaugurated the country’s first Geo Science Museum in Gwalior on Sunday. Governor Mangubhai Patel, Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav, Union Communications and North Eastern Region Development Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia, Union Minister of State for Coal and Mines Satish Chandra Dubey, Assembly Speaker Narendra Singh Tomar, Gwalior District In-charge and Water Resources Minister Tulsiram Silawat and MP Bharat Singh Kushwaha were also present on the occasion of the inauguration of the state-of-the-art Geo Science Museum in Gwalior located in Heritage Building Victoria Market. Vice President Dhankhar’s wife Smt. Sudesh Dhankhar was specially present on this occasion. Vice President Dhankhar inaugurated the country’s first state-of-the-art Geo Science Museum by unveiling the plaque and cutting the ribbon at the entrance of the museum. He also congratulated and wished the people of Gwalior for this unique gift. Along with all the guests, he saw the pictures, artifacts and information related to geology displayed in various galleries of the museum and praised the museum.
After the inauguration of the museum, Vice President Mr. Dhankhar also saw the historical buildings standing as excellent examples of architecture located at Maharaj Bada. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav, Union Minister Mr. Scindia and Assembly Speaker Mr. Tomar apprised the Vice President of the craftsmanship and styles of the buildings of Maharaj Bada. This country’s first ultra-modern and amazing Geo Science Museum, prepared by the National Science Museum Council in collaboration with Gwalior Municipal Corporation, contains unique information related to the origin of the Earth, the development of mankind and human civilization and the universe. Precious objects including dinosaur eggs are available for tourists to see in the museum. This museum provides solutions to the curiosities of children and adults related to geology. Also, this museum is informative from a scientific point of view. Rare geological samples related to earth science have been shown in the museum through multimedia display.
Information about the origin and development of the Earth in a gallery of the museum Information about geology has been preserved in an attractive manner with light effects through two galleries in the Geo Science Museum. The development of the earth has been depicted in one gallery, which mentions how the earth came into its original form and what things made it up. What does the earth look like today? They were also present in the program Director General of Geological Survey of India Mr. Asit Saha, Division Commissioner Mr. Manoj Khatri, Inspector General of Police Mr. Arvind Saxena, Collector Mrs. Ruchika Chauhan, Superintendent of Police Mr. Dharamveer Singh, Municipal Corporation Commissioner Mr. Aman Vaishnav and officials of Geological Survey of India were also present in the inauguration program of Geo Science Museum.

At the airport, the Vice President was given a warm welcome by Governor Mr. Mangubhai Patel, Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav and Assembly Speaker Mr. Narendra Singh Tomar by presenting a bouquet of flowers. The Vice President was accompanied by his wife Mrs. Sudesh Dhankhar and Union Communications and Development of North Eastern Region Minister Mr. Jyotiraditya Scindia.
