Vending zones will be built at these places in the city

Raipur. In order to resolve the traffic chaos caused by street vending work within the limits of Municipal Corporation, Raipur and to make arrangements for street vendors, in the first phase, 06 places have been identified to be developed as vending zones, namely Khamhardih in front of Palm Balaji near Jabbar Nala, Tikrapara near Pujari Park, Aamapara near Karitalab, government land situated below Amanaka flyover, near Budhatalaab and the land behind Mahalaxmi Kapda Market in Pandri. Out of the above mentioned places, approval has been given by the Town Vending Committee for creating vending zones at Khamhardih in front of Palm Balaji near Jabbar Nala, Tikrapara near Pujari Park and government land situated below Amanaka flyover. The tender for which has been issued through registered advertising agencies for the work of creating and operating model vending zones on the lines of revenue sharing model. The process of getting approval of Town Vending Committee is being done for the remaining sites at Aamapara near Karitalaab, near Budhatalaab (Dharna Sthal) and the land behind Mahalaxmi Kapda Market in Pandri. After getting the approval, the process of tendering will be done for the remaining sites as well.
