Veer Savarkar’s personality and deeds will be taken to the masses: Chief Minister Dr. Yadav

Bhopal: Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav has said that Swatantrya Veer Vinayak Damodar Savarkar was a great revolutionary, freedom fighter, thinker, social reformer, historian, poet, eloquent speaker and farsighted politician of India. He became popular by the name of Veer Savarkar due to his deeds. His personality and deeds will be taken to the masses.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav on Monday unveiled the statue of freedom fighter Vinayak Damodar Savarkar in Pragati Nagar, Indore. On this occasion, Urban Development and Housing Minister Kailash Vijayvargiya, Water Resources Minister Tulsiram Silawat, Mayor Pushyamitra Bhargava, MLA Madhu Verma, Ramesh Mendola, Golu Shukla, Veer Savarkar’s grandson Ranjit Savarkar, Baba Saheb Nawathe, Sumit Mishra, Shravan Chavda and other public representatives were present.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that just remembering Veer Savarkar gives a feeling of excitement. He played an important role in getting freedom for the country by enduring many hardships and tortures. His life is ideal. Even after receiving the most difficult punishment like Kalapani, he did not back down from his goal. He said that there is a need to understand the history of Veer Savarkar in the right way. Our goal is to make his history reach the people in the right way. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that the place which is established in the name of a great man should be known and identified by his name. For this, his name should be used in government correspondence and other works including setting up information boards.

Mayor Shri Pushyamitra Bhargava said that the statue of Veer Savarkar has been built with public cooperation in the Pragati Nagar Zone office of Rajendra Nagar area of ​​Indore. The base of the statue has been designed in the shape of books written by Veer Savarkar.
