Dhami Government to Celebrate 3 Years in Office with Statewide Public Service Events
The Dhami government is set to complete three years in office on March 23, and to mark the occasion, several events are being organized across the state. The government has decided to celebrate this milestone under the theme of “Jan Seva” (Public Service). From March 22 to 25, various programs will be held, with the main events scheduled for March 22 in Almora and March 23 in Dehradun. Chief Secretary Radha Raturi has directed all district magistrates to organize multi-purpose and health camps as part of the celebrations at district headquarters. According to the plan, health and multi-purpose camps will take place across districts from March 22 to March 25, 2025. The main event in Almora will be held on March 22, while Dehradun will host the key function on March 23.
On March 23, district headquarters across the state will also hold celebrations. These events will include:
✔️ The launch of a development booklet prepared by the information department.
✔️ Multi-purpose service camps offering government services and benefits.
✔️ Free medical check-ups and medicine distribution.
Who Will Lead the Events?
- In districts where the minister-in-charge is available, they will preside over the function.
- If the minister is unavailable, the event will be led by the local MP.
- District magistrates will coordinate with the concerned minister or MP for program execution.
The multi-purpose camps will ensure the availability of essential public services, provide information about government schemes, and highlight success stories of beneficiaries who have excelled under various state programs. The district-level events will begin at 11:00 AM. In Dehradun, Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami will address the gathering at 12:30 PM. The event will also feature cultural performances, including folk dance, music, and art exhibitions showcasing Uttarakhand’s traditions. Local public representatives and beneficiaries of government schemes will be invited to participate. Additionally, from March 24 to March 30, multi-purpose and health camps will be organized at the constituency and block levels under the Jan Seva theme.
