Uttarakhand Congress sent panel to screening committee, name of candidate will be decided tomorrow

For Kedarnath by-election, the State Congress Committee has sent the panel of candidates to the screening committee. The names of the candidates for the panel were decided in the meeting chaired by state in-charge Kumari Selja.

The high command will take a decision after discussing the panel in the screening committee meeting in Delhi on Saturday. 13 people from Congress have claimed ticket for Kedarnath assembly by-election. According to party sources, the names of Manoj Rawat, Kunwar Sajwan and Laxman Rawat have been sent in the panel.

However, in the meeting held in Delhi, senior party leaders advocated giving ticket to Manoj Rawat. The names for the panel were decided in the meeting. On Friday, the State Congress Committee has sent the panel to the screening committee. The screening committee meeting is likely to be held in Delhi on Saturday. Congress can announce the candidate by October 27.
