US Vice President Kamala Harris on Tuesday secured the official nomination for the post of President from the Democratic Party. With this, she has become the first Indian-American woman to get a ticket for the presidential election in the country. At the same time, she has chosen Tim Walz as her running mate i.e. the candidate for the post of Vice President. Kamala Harris (59) will face former President and Republican Party candidate Donald Trump in the election to be held in November.
Walz has been an MP for 12 years
Kamala Harris chose Minnesota Governor Tim Walz (60) as her candidate for the post of Vice President on Tuesday morning before the Philadelphia rally. Walz has been an MP for 12 years before becoming the Governor of Minnesota in 2018.
