Unique initiative of Minister Vishwas Kailash Sarang: Started distribution of Ganga water in Prayagraj

A unique initiative of Cooperatives, Sports and Youth Welfare Minister Shri Vishwas Kailash Sarang, he on Saturday started the distribution of holy Gangajal brought from Prayagraj Mahakumbh in Narela Assembly constituency. The main program started from Narmada Parikrama Park located in Ashoka Garden, where Minister Shri Sarang sent off the chariots specially prepared for the distribution of Gangajal after performing Puja-Aarchana.
Minister Shri Sarang reached Ashoka Garden in Ward 69, Dwarka Nagar in Ward 37 and Ward 76 and distributed holy Gangajal to the citizens from door to door. Under this campaign, Gangajal was distributed door to door in all 17 wards of Narela Assembly, so that the devotees who could not go to Prayagraj Mahakumbh can also avail the benefits of this holy water.
Maha Kumbh is the grand festival of Sanatan faith
On this occasion, Minister Shri Sarang said that Maha Kumbh is the biggest and most sacred religious event of our Sanatan Dharma, in which crores of devotees from the country and abroad come and earn merit. The importance of this great festival has been established since time immemorial. He said that on this holy occasion of Kumbh, Ganga water has been brought from Prayagraj through tankers, especially for those who are unable to go to Prayagraj Maha Kumbh. This water is being packed in bottles and distributed door to door free of cost.
Gangajal was distributed to more than 23 thousand houses on the first day
Under the ‘Har Har Gange-Ghar Ghar Gange’ campaign, workers distributed Gangajal from Prayagraj Mahakumbh packed in bottles door-to-door in 17 wards of Narela Vidhansabha. During this, all the workers distributed Gangajal by knocking at the doors of citizens with Gangajal distribution chariot and drums. On the first day, free Gangajal was delivered to about 23 thousand 635 houses. It is worth mentioning that under this campaign, a target has been set to deliver Gangajal to every house of Narela Vidhansabha.
Expressed gratitude to Minister Shri Sarang
There was a lot of enthusiasm among the citizens about this event. Gangajal was welcomed by showering flowers at various places. After receiving Gangajal, the devotees performed aarti and accepted it with reverence and expressed gratitude to Minister Shri Sarang. Ms. Aarti Bisen, resident of Ashoka Garden, expressed her gratitude and said that Mahakumbh is a great festival of faith for all of us, but due to personal reasons we were unable to go to Prayagraj. But now we will be able to earn the virtue of Mahakumbh at home. At the same time, Smt. Gayatri Choubey, resident of Bank Colony, said that distributing the holy Gangajal of Mahakumbh from house to house is a highly commendable and unique initiative. Bhopal Mayor Smt. Malti Rai, local public representatives, dignitaries and a large number of residents were present in the program.
