Unified portal system will be launched for the convenience of common people in the state: Chief Minister Dr. Yadav

Bhopal: Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav has said that the Department of Science and Technology has an important role in providing facilities to the common people in the state. A unified portal system should be prepared to provide the benefits of the services of various departments to the general public easily. In which the services of various departments should be linked together, ensure that the general public gets the benefit at one place. The unified portal should be launched by linking 1700 services of various departments. Implementation should be ensured at the ground level so that the general public can easily get information about the science and technology departments. Hoardings should be put up for the purpose of giving information about various programs and campaigns to the public. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav was directing the concerned officials during the review meeting of the Science and Technology Department at the Chief Minister’s residence (Samatva Bhavan) on Friday. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav has said that the help of new technology should be taken in the effective operation of various technical works and arrangements in Simhastha-2028 in Ujjain. To ensure this, MPSEDC should prepare software/app and the Urban Development and Housing Department should also be directed. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that the state government has prepared a new drone policy and implemented it. A detailed action plan should be prepared to increase the use of drones for law and order control in the state. Along with this, the use of drones should also be ensured for urban traffic management.

National workshop to be organized in Dongla, Ujjain on June 21 A national workshop on the subject of ‘Astronomy and Indian Knowledge Tradition’ will be organized in Ujjain on International Yoga Day (June 21) under the chief hospitality of Chief Minister Dr. Yadav. This workshop will be organized at Varahamihir Astronomical Observatory in Dongla by Madhya Pradesh Council of Science and Technology and other associates. On this occasion, activities like yoga camp, zero shadow observation, science show, STEM workshop, lecture and discussion will be held. Increase data collection capacity by strengthening the surveillance system with drones Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that a comprehensive action plan should be prepared for the use of drones for law and order control in the state. He said that the use of drones should also be ensured for urban traffic management. Along with this, there is a need to increase data collection capacity while strengthening the surveillance system through drones. The state government has prepared a new drone policy and implemented it. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav was informed that according to the current system, drones are being used for survey and monitoring work in the projects of various departments including Revenue, Urban Development and Housing, RERA, Public Works, Water Resources.

Immense possibilities of investment in technology sector, increase the number of IT parks Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that IT parks have been developed by MPSEDC in major cities of the state, Indore, Bhopal, Jabalpur and Gwalior. In view of the favorable environment for investment in the information technology sector in the state and the increasing possibilities of investment, the number of IT parks should be increased. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav directed to develop all IT parks including Indore on PPP model. He directed to enhance the capacity of various engineering colleges of the state on par with IIT. Take effective action to prevent incidents of cyber attack Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that Madhya Pradesh Computer Emergency Team should be formed to prevent incidents of cyber attack and their effective execution and Chief Security Officers should be posted in all government departments. He said that security audit of all IT projects/websites/apps of the departments should be done, in which security standards of the system, data management and efficiency of the projects should be evaluated, so that any potential risk can be identified and preventive measures can be taken in time. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav was informed that so far this year, the team of experts has succeeded in preventing 134 network attacks. Last month, during Operation Sindoor, action was taken to identify and block 72 IPs involved in suspicious activities.

A zonal plan will be made for the survey and monitoring plan by drones. Chief Secretary Anurag Jain said that the survey and monitoring plan by drones will be implemented in a planned manner by preparing a zonal plan. He said that inputs should also be taken from cyber experts of the Home Department for cyber security. He said that the Urban Housing and Information and Technology Department should jointly prepare a plan for technical support of Simhastha 2028. He said that the plan of Prayagraj Mahakumbh 2025 should also be studied. He said that to prepare the state’s space tech policy, the policies of other states should also be studied. He said that the model of IIT Madras can be followed to promote startups culture in the state. He said that necessary facilities should be provided to investors in IT and related sectors.

Space tech policy will be made soon in Madhya Pradesh Additional Chief Secretary Sanjay Dubey apprised Chief Minister Dr. Yadav of the updated status of the works under the Department of Science and Technology. He said that stakeholders have also been consulted to prepare the state’s space tech policy. The state’s space tech policy will be prepared soon. Additional Chief Secretary Dubey informed that MP-CERT has provided training to various departments regarding cyber security. He said that action is being taken to strengthen cyber security in the state. Dubey informed that mapping of the deepening of the Narmada river has been done. He informed that EHRMS, Single Sign On, Unified Portal for citizens etc. have been developed for government employees. He gave detailed information about the development of data center, AVGC Lab, establishment of incubation centers, IT startups, establishment of ESDM Park, semiconductor manufacturing, establishment of GCC etc. He said that continuous efforts are being made to establish industries of IT and related sectors in the state. Additional Chief Secretary Chief Minister’s Office Dr. Rajesh Rajoura, Additional Chief Secretary Finance Manish Rastogi, MD MPSEDC Ashish Vashisht and Project Director Guru Prasad along with other officers were present.
