Under the Chief Minister’s Krishak Promotion Scheme, an additional benefit of Rs. 4 thousand per hectare will be given on paddy: Chief Minister Dr. Yadav

Bhopal: Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav, while giving an unprecedented gift to the farmers in the Kisan Sammelan of Balaghat, said that now paddy producing farmers in the state will be given an additional benefit of Rs 4 thousand per hectare. He said that wheat producing farmers will also be given an additional bonus amount of Rs 175 per quintal. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that under the Price Support Scheme, paddy produced in 12.2 lakh hectare area has been sold by 6.69 lakh farmers in the year 2024. Paddy producing farmers will get a benefit of Rs 4000 per hectare under the Chief Minister Krishak Promotion Scheme. This will give additional benefit of Rs 488 crore to the farmers of the state. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that wheat producing farmers will also be given a bonus amount of Rs 175 per quintal in addition to the support price of Rs 2425. In this way, an amount of Rs 2600 per quintal will be received on the procurement of wheat. This year 80 lakh metric tonnes of wheat procurement is estimated in the state. The farmers of the state will get the benefit of additional amount of approximately Rs 1400 crore by getting Rs 175 per quintal as bonus.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that the government is continuously working with commitment for the welfare of all sections. He said that recruitment is being done for one lakh government posts in the state. In the coming 5 years, employment will be provided in various sectors on 2 lakh 70 thousand posts. Our government is working with commitment to provide employment to 70 percent youth by the year 2028. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that the schemes running in the state for the welfare of all sections will continue as before. No scheme will be stopped. He said that our effort is that the state should remain number one in all areas. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav also made everyone pledge development in the Kisan Sammelan. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav visited the exhibition in the conference. He distributed assistive devices to 1412 Divyangjans and 1040 senior citizens along with distributing benefits to the beneficiaries of various other schemes.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that the Madhya Pradesh government is constantly moving ahead under the leadership and guidance of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi. He said that under the leadership of Prime Minister Shri Modi, the country’s economy has come from 11th position to 5th position and now we are moving towards fourth position. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that India is the fastest developing country, and it is a matter of happiness that at present Madhya Pradesh has the highest GSDP growth rate of 13 percent. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav directed the local collector to ensure that all eligible beneficiaries get the benefits of Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana Urban and Rural. He said that no person will remain without a permanent house.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav inaugurated the hockey astro turf while giving an important gift to the players of Balaghat. He said that it is a matter of pride for Madhya Pradesh that the players of the state are bringing glory to the country not only at the national but also at the international level. Having players from Madhya Pradesh winning medals makes us proud. He expressed heartfelt happiness over Madhya Pradesh securing the third position in the National Games held in Uttarakhand. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that the government will provide proper opportunities to the youth of our state to move forward in whatever field they want to work in. The government is ready to bring development in every field to bring change in the life of every person.
Describing Balaghat as the emperor of minerals, Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that this district is rich in natural and mineral wealth. Copper and manganese are available here in abundance. The fragrance of Chinnor rice is spread everywhere.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that the work of eradicating Naxalism is going on in the country under the leadership of Home Minister Shri Amit Shah. Under the guidance of Home Minister Shri Shah, we will not let Naxalism take hold in the state at any cost. He said that strict action will be taken to completely eradicate Naxalism. It will not be possible for Naxalites to come from any other state and live in Madhya Pradesh. The police administration has been instructed to take strict action for this.
Inauguration and Bhoomi Pujan took place today
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav inaugurated and performed Bhoomi Pujan of a total of 117 development works costing more than Rs 326 crore 60 lakh in Balaghat district. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav inaugurated 78 development works costing more than Rs 264 crore, including CM Rise School in Balaghat, Birsa, Waraseoni, Malajkhand, Lalbarra at a cost of more than Rs 145 crore, upgradation of various schools and construction of hostels in Baihar, Pasarwada Khairlanji of Balaghat at a cost of more than Rs 53 crore, construction work of various roads and bridges at a cost of more than Rs 10 crore, bridge on Waraseoni-Khandwa road at a cost of Rs 9 crore 30 lakh and Amar Shaheed Chandrashekhar Azad Hockey Astro Turf at a cost of Rs 7 crore 26 lakh. He also inaugurated Anganwadi centres constructed in various areas of Balaghat at a cost of Rs 5 crore 60 lakh.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav also performed Bhoomi Pujan for 39 development works costing Rs 62 crore. These include 50-bed health center in Varasewani at a cost of 24 crore, newly formed tehsil office in Lamta at a cost of Rs 9 crore 12 lakh, bridge construction on Kharpadia to Shivnheti Katangi road at a cost of more than Rs 8 crore, development works in schools under Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan at a cost of Rs 3 crore, construction of primary schools in Katangjhari, Lamta, Donriya, Belgaum, Sadara at a cost of about 2 crore.
In her speech, local MP Mrs. Pardhi thanked Chief Minister Dr. Yadav for providing unprecedented gifts to the people of the district. She said that soon, with the support of Chief Minister Dr. Yadav, Balaghat residents will also get the gift of a copper refinery in Malajkhand from the Centre.
