Tribute to Siachen’s brave martyr Rajiv Pandey on his 45th martyrdom day, he had given the supreme sacrifice for the tricolor

Raipur – Today, on the 45th martyrdom day of Raipur resident Shaheed Rajiv Pandey, who sacrificed his life while serving the motherland by hoisting the national flag on the world’s inaccessible military peak Siachen Glacier, the first citizen of the capital, Mayor of Municipal Corporation Raipur, Mrs. Meenal Chaubey, reached the brief event organized in front of his statue site located in Sanjay Nagar Tikrapara of the capital city under the aegis of the Culture Department of Municipal Corporation Raipur with the cooperation of Zone No. 6 and paid tribute to him on behalf of all the residents of the capital. In the event, Shaheed Rajiv Pandey’s elder brother Sunil Pandey, Chairman of the Corporation’s Culture Department Amar Gidwani, Revenue Department Chairman Avtar Bharti Bagal, Zone 6 Zone Chairman Badri Prasad Gupta, Ward Councilor Mrs. Swapnil Mishra, Pramod Kumar Sahu, Zone 6 Zone Commissioner Hitendra Yadav along with other distinguished people, dignitaries and common people paid tribute to Shaheed Rajiv Pandey on his martyrdom day by paying respectful tribute. Mayor Mrs. Meenal Chaubey said that Raipur resident Shaheed Rajiv Pandey is not only a proud man of Raipur city and Chhattisgarh state, but of the entire nation. The sacrifice made by him while serving the motherland will be remembered with respect by the citizens for ages. All the citizens get inspiration to sacrifice their entire life for the nation by just remembering the glorious tale of bravery of the soldiers of the Indian Army contingent under his leadership in Siachen Glacier, where they defeated the soldiers of the enemy country Pakistan’s army contingent and earned victory for the nation.
