Tribal Kol community is known for its bravery and seriousness since ancient times: Chief Minister Dr. Yadav

Bhopal: Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav has said that the tribal society has a rich and glorious history, the society has contributed significantly to the independence and development of the country. The tribal Kol society is known for its bravery and seriousness since ancient times. Many heroes of the tribal society have contributed significantly to the independence of the country by sacrificing their lives for water, forest, land and fighting with the British. The state government will conduct an investigation and give leases to all the places in the state where people of the Kol tribe reside and whose leases have not been made. The Chief Minister announced to install the statue of revolutionary patriotic tribal hero Bhagwan Birsa Munda in Birsa Munda Medical College Shahdol and the statue of Banbhatt in Bansagar reservoir.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that the government will bear the expenses of education and coaching of the sons and daughters of the tribal society. 100-seater boys and girls hostels and pre-examination training centers will be opened in all the divisions of the state at a cost of Rs. 24 crore each. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav was addressing the state level Kol tribal conference in Byawari. He inaugurated 55 development works worth Rs. 330 crore and performed bhoomi pujan of 52 works.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has completed 11 years of his tenure today. Under the leadership of Prime Minister Modi, the country’s respect and honour has increased all over the world. He has left no stone unturned in the development of all sections of society. The country is developing rapidly. The state government is committed to the development of Prime Minister Modi’s 4 missions of the poor, youth, women and farmers. He said that 4 crore people have been given permanent houses. The government will survey those who have been left out and provide them permanent houses.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that on Raksha Bandhan, 250 rupees will be lovingly given as a gift to the beloved sisters of the state. The Chief Minister said that strict action will be taken against the culprits by investigating false cases against the tribes. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav announced to include the biography of Lord Birsa Munda in the school curriculum and to name the girls’ education complexes in 13 districts after Mata Shabari.

Remembering tribal heroes

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav also recalled the contribution of Raja Bhabhut Singh. A cabinet meeting was organized in his administrative center Pachmarhi in honor of Raja Bhabhut Singh. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that there have been many glorious personalities in the Kaul community, among them Budhu Bhagat and Madara Mahato are also included. The Kaul community is proud of their deeds. In the years 1831 and 1832, a struggle was fought against the atrocities of the British under the leadership of these tribal heroes. The brothers of the Kaul community built a hut for Lord Shri Ram. This is a patriotic community. The history of the tribal society is glorious with such great men. A cabinet meeting was also organized in Singhrampur in honor of Rani Durgavati.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav inaugurated the state level Kol tribal conference by lighting the lamp, performing Kanya Pujan and garlanding the statue of Lord Birsa Munda. The program was also addressed by the Chairman of Kol Vikas Pradhikaran, Shri Ramlal Rautel and MLA of Byawari Assembly constituency, Shri Sharad Kol.

The Chief Minister gave many gifts for the development of the district

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav announced several gifts for the development of Shahdol district. The Chief Minister announced Rs. 28 crore for drinking water system of Shahdol city, opening of college in Gram Panchayat Nipaniya, development of water tourism in Sarsi Island, construction of bridge from Charki Dol of Jaisinghnagar tehsil in Odari river at a cost of Rs. 13 crore, renovation of Bhagdevra fort of Rampur Baghelan tehsil of district Satna. Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav announced to give Rs. 10 lakh to 9 football teams of Mini Brazil village Vicharpur of Shahdol district and said that the children of the state should play a lot, move ahead and earn name in the world. He also announced to give Rs. 5,000 each to the members of the teams who presented in cultural programs in the conference. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav distributed benefits to beneficiaries and self-help groups etc. under various schemes. He observed and appreciated the exhibition set up at the conference venue.

On this occasion, Deputy Chief Minister and Minister in charge of Shahdol District Shri Rajendra Shukla, Tribal Affairs Minister Dr. Kunwar Vijay Shah, MP of Sidhi Parliamentary Constituency Dr. Rajesh Mishra, MLA Jaitpur Shri Jaisingh Maravi, MLA Jaisinghnagar Smt. Manisha Singh, Shri Brajlal Kol of Coal Development Authority, District President of Tribal Society, District Panchayat President, Municipal Corporation President, City Council President, social workers and a large number of common people were present.
