DEHRADUN : Three Young Men Killed in Late-Night Road Accident in Dehradun. A tragic road accident in Dehradun late Tuesday night claimed the lives of three young men, leaving their families in deep sorrow. Among the victims, two had recently been selected for the Agniveer army recruitment and were preparing for their training. Bike Accident Turns Fatal. The accident occurred around 2 AM near Silver City on Rajpur Road when the bike carrying the three youths lost control and crashed into a divider. The impact was severe, leaving all three riders critically injured. They were rushed to the hospital, but despite medical efforts, they succumbed to their injuries during treatment. Two Victims Were Agniveer Recruits The deceased have been identified as:
– Aditya Rawat (21), son of Kamal Singh, resident of Uttarkashi
– Naveen Singh (20), son of Jaydev Singh, resident of Uttarkashi
– Mohit Rawat (21), son of Jagmohan, resident of Uttarkashi
Both Aditya and Mohit had recently cleared the Agniveer recruitment process and were set to leave for their training soon. Meanwhile, Naveen was also preparing for a career in the army. Preliminary investigations suggest that over-speeding was the primary cause of the accident**.
