Tourism promoters mesmerized by the unique beauty of Chhattisgarh

Raipur. The “Chhattisgarh Connect 2024” program has been organized in Chhattisgarh from 5 to 8 August under the joint aegis of Chhattisgarh Tourism Board, Tourism India Alliance and Chhattisgarh Tourism Trade Association. In this important program, more than 40 tourism promoters from different states of India were invited and given a special experience of the unique beauty of Chhattisgarh, especially Bastar. Under the program, tourism promoters from all over the country were mesmerized by the natural beauty of Chhattisgarh.

In this connection, on August 8, 2024, tourism promoters visited the Jungle Safari located in Nava Raipur, where they were warmly welcomed by the management. The Jungle Safari tour started with plantation under the “Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam” campaign, which highlights the commitment towards environmental conservation.

Giving detailed information about the safari, Shri Dhammasheel Ganvir, Director of Jungle Safari, told the tourism promoters about the diverse wildlife and natural landscapes of the area. He also shared his previous experiences in the Bastar region, mentioning the deep connection of local tribal communities with nature and their rich cultural heritage.

During this time, a documentary film based on Jungle Safari was also shown to the guests. Jungle Safari Director Shri Dhammasheel Ganvir also told about the efforts made by the Jungle Safari management to connect the youth to wildlife conservation through the Yuvan Volunteers Program and also emphasized the role of tourism stakeholders in making Jungle Safari a major tourist attraction in Chhattisgarh. He appealed to all tourism operators and promoters to showcase eco-tourism in Chhattisgarh at the national and international level.
