Tiranga Yatra was taken out in Charaidand of Jashpur with patriotic songs

Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai along with public representatives and a large number of common citizens joined the yatra with the tricolor in their hands.

The entire atmosphere resonated with slogans of Bharat Mata Ki Jai and the tricolor flag.

Raipur 17 May 2025: On the success of “Operation Sindoor”, a tricolor yatra full of patriotism was taken out in Charaidand of Duldula development block of Jashpur district today. Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai inaugurated this grand yatra which started from the Shiva temple of the village to the mango garden. Jashpur MLA Smt. Raimuni Bhagat, Municipal Council Chairman Arvind Bhagat, District Panchayat Chairman Salik Sai, District Panchayat Vice-President Shaurya Pratap Singh Judeo, Bharat Singh, Vikramaditya Singh Judeo, Sunil Gupta, Krishna Rai, Surguja Commissioner Narendra Kumar Dugga, IG Deepak Jha, Collector Rohit Vyas, SSP Shashi Mohan Singh, District Panchayat CEO Abhishek Kumar, people’s representatives, representatives of Panchayat and urban bodies, officers, common citizens, children and jawans participated in the Tiranga Yatra along with the Chief Minister. People participated in the Yatra enthusiastically with the tricolour in their hands. The entire atmosphere resounded with the slogans of ‘Bharat Mata ki Jai’, ‘Vande Mataram’ and ‘Jai Hind’ during the Yatra. Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai said on this occasion that “This Yatra is not only a respect for the tricolor, but it is also a true tribute to our martyrs. This campaign is a symbol of strengthening the unity, integrity and sovereignty of the country.” Under ‘Operation Sindoor’, Tiranga Yatra was organized simultaneously in the entire district, the aim of which is to instill the spirit of patriotism among the youth, to strengthen national unity through public participation. Addressing a large number of youth, women power and citizens present, Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai said that such a large participation in a short time is proof that the people of the country are united and standing for the nation. He expressed gratitude to all the participants.

Chief Minister Sai said that under the guidance of the Prime Minister of the country, the Indian Army has achieved unprecedented success under ‘Operation Sindoor’. This campaign is dedicated to those martyred soldiers who have increased the honor of the nation with their martyrdom. He said that just like the way the army responded after the Uri attack, it gave a befitting reply to the cowardly incident carried out by Pakistan-backed terrorists in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir on 22 April. The Chief Minister paid tribute to the people who were killed brutally in the Pahalgam incident, including the sons of Chhattisgarh. The Chief Minister said that under the able leadership of the Prime Minister and the Defense Minister, action was taken against the terrorist hideouts across the border and they were destroyed. The participation of all sections of the society in this Tiranga Yatra gives the message that India is one, and all citizens are united in the national interest. He said that every citizen of the country is appreciating Operation Sidhu, carried out by the Indian Army against terrorism. The Indian Army is protecting the country’s borders with great bravery, showing indomitable courage to protect the country. Tiranga Yatra was taken out in all the urban bodies and gram panchayats of the district to show respect to the Indian Army and for the unity and integrity of the country. Peoples’ representatives, representatives of Panchayat and urban bodies, officers, common citizens, children, women, elderly and youth participated in the Yatra in large numbers and expressed their solidarity and respect towards the country.
