French car manufacturer Citroen is preparing to launch a new SUV in the Indian market soon. This could be the company’s third SUV after C5 Aircross and C3 Aircross. The report has revealed that this SUV can be launched in India under the name of Citroen Basalt in June this year. Currently the company is testing it in India and during this time some of its pictures have also been revealed.

In the latest spy shots captured in Tiruvallur, Tamil Nadu, the Besalt SUV is seen without any camouflage. The images are likely of the entry-level variant of the SUV and completely showcase its exterior design elements. Basalt SUV can be launched in India in the second half of this year.

The company currently offers C3 and C3 Aircross with ICE in the Indian market, as well as C5 Aircross.
