This Smriti Van is dedicated to the penance of Dada Guru – Minister Patel

Bhopal: Panchayat and Rural Development and Labour Minister Prahlad Singh Patel welcomed Dada Guru ji at Jararudham on the 1705th day of his fasting. Dadaguru worshipped trees and Lord Shankar at Jararudham in Damoh. Narmadakhand Seva Sansthan planted 1705 saplings at cow sanctuary Jararudham today on completion of 1705 days of Dadaguru fasting. On this occasion, Minister of State for Animal Husbandry, Dairy Department (Independent Charge) Lakhan Patel, MLA Banda Virendra Singh Lambardar, District Panchayat Chairperson Ranjita Gaurav Patel, former MLA Pradumn Singh Lodhi, President of Narmadakhand Seva Sansthan Narendra Bajaj, along with a large number of public representatives, officials, journalists and citizens were present. Minister Patel said that it is a happy coincidence that Dada Guru, an ardent devotee of Mother Narmada, has completed 1700 days on the waters of Mother Narmada, tomorrow it will be 1705 days, on that occasion Dada Guru himself has come to Jararu Dham in Damoh. I had the darshan of Dada Guru, such a divine idol who has been on the waters of Maa Narmada for almost 5 years and the speed at which he walks is the penance of the holy land of Jararudham. I came here during this period.

Minister Patel said that plantation is done thrice a year at Jararudham. This time the occasion is that Dadaguru has been on water for 1705 days. Perhaps no such idol is known in history till now, when his 1700 days were completed. Today 1705 saplings are being planted. This Smriti Van is dedicated to the penance of Dada Guru. Ascetics came to the place of penance of Jararudham and we all are included in his memory. Everyone has planted trees. Earlier we had planted 10,000 trees. Today 1705 trees are dedicated to Dada Guru in memory of his penance. So today I express my gratitude to all the sons and daughters, socio-political workers, officers, employees. Dada Guru said that just as the idol adorns the monastery, similarly the trees and plants bring liveliness to our village and town. Just like we established the idol in the monastery and found God, Ishwar and the soul in the stone, now the time has come to start seeing God in the plants and trees as well, only then it will be preserved, only then it will be meaningful. We have not planted this tree, we have established the living idol of the soul itself.

Dada Guru, a devotee of Maa Narmada, said that we can call Jararudham as Siddha Kshetra and Adi Teerth also. Jararudham Gau Abhyaran means the visible form of powers. Like in the Sundarkand of Ramcharitra Manas, there is a very good sutra of Jararudham, which is the worship of God’s power with form. Similarly, Shakti is Sagun in Jararudham. We have found the powers visible. There is Shakti in the form of water in Jararudham. If someone is worshipping or bowing to a tree, then he is worshipping God’s power with form. In Jararudham Teerthkshetra, whether it is in the form of cow or Devganga, here two powers will be found in visible form. While roaming around, we see this soil as Mother. This soil, this land is not ordinary. This can also be called Devdhara and Devbhoomi. If you get the fortune of coming here and serving, then understand that a thousand crore yajna has been performed. Minister of State for Animal Husbandry and Dairy Development, Lakhan Patel said, when I came here, I felt that Jararudham has completely changed. When we used to come here earlier also, there was nothing in the name of trees, there were only stones and today a dense forest can be seen, this is the result of Prahlad Singh Patel’s thinking and the dedication of the people here, last year also we had planted a lot of saplings which are in very good condition and the 1705 saplings that are being planted today, these will also turn into a forest in the coming 2-3 years, all are fruit bearing plants, so definitely people will benefit here.
