Raipur 19 May 2025: Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai is generally known for simplicity and ease, but when it comes to negligence or irregularities in government schemes, his fierce form is also seen. Today, a similar incident was seen in Chukatapani village of Gaurela-Pendra-Marwahi district. The Chief Minister reached Chukatapani on a surprise visit today under Sushasan Tihar, and was listening to the problems of the villagers by setting up a Chaupal under a Mahua tree, when the villagers told him about the problem of drinking water. The Chief Minister immediately called the officials of the PHE department. He asked the sub-engineer about the number of hand pumps in the village and the villagers about the Jal Jeevan Mission. On not getting a satisfactory answer from the sub-engineer, Chief Minister Sai said that this is government work, not a joke. Do the work or be ready to be suspended. Seeing this form of him, the government staff present there got scared, while the villagers supported him by clapping.
