Earlier, India decided to declare the innings at 287 for four with the help of centuries from Shubman Gill and Rishabh Pant in the second innings. Shubman remained unbeaten on 119 runs off 176 balls with the help of 10 fours and four sixes, while Pant scored 109 runs off 128 balls with the help of 13 fours and four sixes. India had scored 376 runs in the first innings and took a lead of 227 runs by bowling out Bangladesh’s first innings for 149 runs. In this way, India set a huge target of runs in front of Bangladesh.
