Narendra Modi will take oath as the Prime Minister of India for the third time at 7 pm on Sunday. Along with him, the ministers of his new cabinet will also take oath. Meanwhile, the list of possible ministers of Modi cabinet has also come out.
It is being told that BJP leaders Manohar Lal, Shivraj Singh Chouhan, Bandi Sanjay Kumar and Ravneet Singh Bittu may be among the new faces in the Union Council of Ministers, who will take oath along with Narendra Modi. Sources said that senior party leaders like Amit Shah, Rajnath Singh, Nitin Gadkari, Piyush Goyal, Ashwini Vaishnav and Mansukh Mandaviya are considered certain to be included in the new government.
At the same time, according to sources, Bilaspur MP from Chhattisgarh Tokhan Sahu has received a call from the PMO. After this Tokhan Sahu reached the Prime Minister’s residence. After which speculations of him becoming a minister have intensified. Tokhan Sahu has defeated Congress MLA Devendra Yadav in this Lok Sabha election. Apart from Tokhan Sahu, the name of Raipur MP Brijmohan Agarwal is also leading. Currently, he is a minister in the Say government. He was also elected MLA for the 8th consecutive time. He defeated Congress candidate Vikas Upadhyay by more than 5.5 lakh votes. In such a situation, it is believed that he can be a strong contender to become a minister at the center. Brijmohan Agarwal is a senior BJP leader. He also has a long experience in politics.
BJP leader Jyotiraditya Scindia and MP Jitin Prasad from Uttar Pradesh and Raksha Khadse from Maharashtra are also likely to be a part of the new government. Khadse confirmed to the media that he has received a call to become a part of the government. Many of these leaders even met Modi at his official residence. A source said that Nirmala Sitharaman, Sarbananda Sonowal and Kiren Rijiju will also take oath.
These TDP-JDU leaders can become ministers
TDP’s Ram Mohan Naidu and Chandrashekhar Pemmasani and JD(U)’s Lallan Singh and Ramnath Thakur, besides Chirag Paswan, Jitan Ram Manjhi, HD Kumaraswamy and Jayant Chaudhary are being considered for ministership.
Bittu can get a place from Punjab
Bittu, grandson of former Punjab Chief Minister Beant Singh, lost the Lok Sabha elections, but due to his profile and BJP’s efforts to increase its foothold in Punjab, he can be included.
Bandi Sanjay Kumar and G Kishan Reddy, elected from Telangana, were seen going together to Modi’s residence and sources close to them said that they could be made ministers. However, no official statement has come out on the possible ministers.
