Raipur, 10 April 2025: Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai today attended the felicitation ceremony of newly elected tribal panchayat public representatives of Kanwar Paikara Samaj and the annual general assembly of Dhamtari Raj Kanwar Paikara Samaj organized at Rankadih in Dhamtari district. On this occasion, he congratulated the victorious public representatives in the urban body elections and three-tier Panchayat elections. Chief Minister Sai, while telling about the work done by Gahiraguru Baba for social welfare, talked about taking inspiration from him and working for social welfare. Chief Minister Sai said that Kanwar and Paikara society have a glorious history, we all need to preserve this glorious history together. He said that today many people of the society are working in various fields and bringing glory to the society. He appealed to the people of the society to participate in the development by staying away from liquor and meat. Chief Minister Sai said that our double engine government has left no stone unturned in fulfilling the promises made under the guarantee of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. As soon as we took oath, we approved 18 lakh Pradhan Mantri Awas. In the Dhamtari district, approval for 40 thousand houses will be given soon. The state government purchased paddy from the farmers of the state at the rate of Rs. 3100 per quintal and also provided the difference amount of its bonus to them within a week. Along with this, the pending paddy bonus of 2 years was also given to the farmers, which the farmers of the state have benefited from.

The Chief Minister said that under the Mahtari Vandan Yojana, more than 70 lakh women of the state are being provided one thousand rupees, soon such women who are newly married or whose names have not been added will also be added. He said that in the purchase of tendu leaves, we have also increased the rate of per standard sack to Rs 5500. Under the Ramlala Darshan Yojana and the Chief Minister’s Teerth Yatra Yojana, the people of the state are getting the opportunity to visit religious places. Under the Landless Rural Agricultural Laborer Scheme, assistance amount is also being provided to the eligible beneficiaries of the state. He gave information about the industrial policy of the state and the facilities given to the higher educational institutions operating in the state and the students. The program was also addressed by Kanker Lok Sabha MP Bhojraj Nag, State President Kanwar Samaj Harivansh Singh Miri, President of Kanwar Samaj Vishram Ji Daau and other guests. On this occasion, former MLA Sihawa Smt. Pinky Dhuv, former MLA Sihawa Shravan Markam along with many community officials and villagers were present in large numbers. Chief Minister handed over the keys of PM House to 10 beneficiaries. Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai on this occasion symbolically handed over the keys of the house to 10 beneficiaries of Kanwar community and wished them a happy housewarming. Under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana Gramin, 21 thousand 875 houses have been approved with the aim of providing permanent houses to all the eligible beneficiaries in the district. At present, a survey of new families is being conducted, in which 32 thousand 565 have been surveyed in the district. 25 beneficiaries got rights records. Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai handed over rights records to 25 beneficiaries and discussed with them. He said that after getting the rights records, there will be no problem now. It is worth mentioning that ownership cards are being provided in the district to the families residing in the inhabited land located in rural revenue villages. Dhamtari district ranks first in the entire state in distribution of ownership cards. So far, 17 thousand 354 ownership cards have been prepared in 143 villages of Dhamtari district. Out of these, 11 thousand 551 cards have been distributed in two phases. This also includes 3 thousand 134 cards of 21 villages of Magarlod tehsil. On the occasion of Panchayati Raj Day (24 April 2025), a target has been set to distribute 3 thousand 345 cards of 26 villages. The work of preparing the records is in progress. Jayanti Sidar gets a cheque of Rs 3.5 crore for startup Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai presented a cheque of Rs 3 crore 41 lakh to Mrs Jayanti Sidar of Startup Hemal Food Products Private Limited, the first beneficiary of the Venture Capital Fund for Scheduled Tribes of IFCI Venture Capital Funds from Dhamtari district and congratulated her in advance for the success of the business. Let us tell you that the second edition of India’s biggest startup event was organized at Bharat Mandapam in New Delhi. This grand event was organized by Government e Market Place. More than 3 thousand startups, more than one thousand investors and representatives from 50 countries participated in this event.
