The week ended on a green note in the stock market

The domestic stock market closed on a green note on the last trading day of the week. Earlier, the benchmark indices reached new highs due to strength in HDFC Bank, Reliance and M&M shares. At the end of trading, the Sensex closed at 76,992.77 with a gain of 181.87 (0.23%) points. On the other hand, the Nifty closed at 23,465.60, up 66.70 (0.29%) points.
