Raipur 21 May 2025: The DRG (District Reserve Guard) unit of Chhattisgarh Police in Narayanpur district has carried out a major operation against left wing extremism amid difficult geographical conditions and extreme challenges. So far 27 Naxalites have been killed in this operation, in which the death of notorious Naxal leader Nambala Keshav Rao has also been confirmed. This is a strong blow to the backbone of the Naxal network. Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai saluted the brave soldiers of DRG for this bravery and success and said that this is not just an operation, but a decisive step towards permanent peace of the country and the state. Chief Minister Sai said that during the operation, sad news has been received about a soldier being martyred and some soldiers being injured. Paying tribute to the martyred soldier, he said that the state will never forget his martyrdom. He has given instructions for proper treatment of the injured soldiers. Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai said that with the courage and valour of the security forces in Chhattisgarh, the Naxal eradication campaign is moving towards decisive success, keeping in mind the deadline of March 2026 set by Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Home Minister Amit Shah to root out Naxalism from the country and the state.
