Out of these, 7 basements were closed by filling them with CMD waste. Also, basements of 72 buildings have been converted into parking. This has provided parking facility for   more than two thousand two-wheelers and four-wheelers.   This has helped in making the parking system and traffic smooth.   Such campaigns will continue continuously. Collector Mr. Ashish Singh directed that the basements of the remaining buildings should also be converted into parking lots soon. Action should be taken against those who do not convert the basement into parking lots.

In the meeting, Collector Mr. Ashish Singh directed that it should be ensured that no speed breaker is built without the approval of the Road Safety Committee. Approval should be obtained from the Road Safety Committee for building speed breakers. It is being seen that speed breakers are being built without technical guidance, due to which there is always a possibility of an accident.

Collector Shri Singh discussed with all the zonal officers present in the meeting and inquired about the actions being taken. He told all the zonal officers to continue taking such action continuously. After persuasion and action, strict action should be taken against those who obstruct traffic on the road or footpath by placing material again. Shri Singh said that there is more need to do such work in Indore. Continuous monitoring should be done at the places where action has been taken. It should be ensured that there is no encroachment again and no one obstructs the traffic.
