The sacrifice of martyred officers and employees was remembered through Police Memorial Day 2024

Bilaspur. Under the direction of the Police Headquarters, Police Smriti Diwas is being organized in the memory of the martyred officers and employees for the country, for which various programs are being organized in District Bilaspur from 21 October Martyr’s Day (Police Flag Day) to 31 October (National Unity Day) under the direction of Superintendent of Police Rajneesh Singh IPS. In the same sequence, with the cooperation of Madam Nivedita Sarkar, Principal of Dreamland School Nutan Chowk Sarkanda Bilaspur, a painting rangoli was organized in the school. In the Police Line, the youth and children displayed rangoli and paid tribute to the martyred soldiers for the country through their art. Information about the weapons was given in the exhibition of arms and ammunition available in the Police Department. Along with this, through essay and debate competitions, people expressed their views while discussing the role of police in nation building and by paying homage to the pictures of the martyrs, expressed their intention to protect the country, state and society by getting recruited in various posts of the Police Department in the future. In front of Civil Line Police Station, Superintendent of Police Rajneesh Singh IPS along with his family and police officers of the district paid tribute by lighting candles after garlanding the statue of martyred Superintendent of Police Shri Vinod Choubey ji. Along with this, the police band paid tribute to him with the tune of the band. Citizens, youth and children of the city also participated in the program and expressed their feelings by lighting candles.

In this program, apart from Superintendent of Police Rajneesh Singh IPS, other officers of the police department, Additional Superintendent of Police Umesh Kashyap, Additional Superintendent of Police Anuj Kumar, City Superintendent of Police Kotwali IPS trainee Akshay Subhadra, City Superintendent of Police Civil Line Nimitesh Singh, DSP Line Manjulata, DSP Line Shiv Charan Parihar, DSP Traffic Sanjay Sahu, Reserve Inspector Bhupendra Kumar Gupta, Police Station Incharge Pradeep Arya and officers and employees of District Police Bilaspur were present and paid tribute.
