Raipur 20 April 2025: Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai and Gujarat Governor Acharya Devvrat today participated in the Dharmaraksha Mahayagya and Vedic Sanatan Sanskriti Sammelan organized at DDU Auditorium in the capital Raipur on the auspicious occasion of 200th birth anniversary of Maharishi Dayanand Saraswati and 150th foundation year of Arya Samaj. During this, Chief Minister Sai performed havan-puja in Dharmaraksha Yagna and prayed for the welfare of the state. On this occasion, Chief Minister Sai and Governor Acharya Devvrat released the booklet “Challenges of Reflection” prepared by Chhattisgarh Provincial Arya Pratinidhi Sabha. Chief Minister Sai, while addressing the gathering, remembered Maharishi Dayanand Saraswati. He said that Arya Samaj has completed 150 years of working for human welfare. Arya Samaj is continuously serving the country, protecting religion and culture and creating public awareness. Sai said that influenced by the thoughts of Maharishi Dayanand, he has been associated with Arya Samaj since 1999 and has been receiving guidance from the sages of the society on various occasions. Arya Samaj is doing the holy work of culture and education by taking forward the thoughts of Maharishi Dayanand. Chief Minister Sai said that our Prime Minister is laying special emphasis on promoting natural farming and the use of indigenous breeds of cows. The state government will definitely speed up its efforts in this direction. Sai said that in the last one and a half years, our government has worked to fulfill Modi’s guarantees. To provide housing to poor families, we had already approved 18 lakh houses in the cabinet and now the survey of Awas Plus-Plus is being done. He said that all the needy families of the state will be provided with permanent houses.
Along with this, the holy resolution of the people of the state to visit the pilgrimage is also being fulfilled through the scheme of giving 10 thousand rupees annually to landless labourers, one thousand rupees per month to mothers and sisters, Chief Minister’s Tirtha Darshan Yojana and Ramlala Darshan Yojana. Gujarat Governor Acharya Devvrat, while paying obeisance to Maharishi Dayanand Saraswati, said that by imbibing his life values and thoughts, the resolution of physical, mental and social progress will be fulfilled. He expressed his views on the entire life journey and objectives of Maharishi Dayanand. He said that protection and promotion of natural agriculture and indigenous cows is very important. If we make cow rearing profitable by adopting a scientific approach, then a natural consciousness will develop in the society to protect it. This will automatically end the problem of animals roaming on the roads. He said that through organic farming we can build a healthy society. On this occasion, Chairman of Yoga Commission Roop Narayan Sinha, Chairman of Cow Service Commission Visheshwar Patel, Swami Dharmanand Saraswati Ji Maharaj, Suresh Ji, Captain Rudra Sen, Vinay Arya, Dr. Rajendra Vidya Alankar, Prabhal Pratap Judeo, Ramkumar Patel of Arya Samaj including Aryaveer and followers of Arya Samaj were present.
