The resolution of “permanent house for every poor” will be fulfilled in Madhya Pradesh: Chief Minister Dr. Yadav

Bhopal: Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav has said that Prime Minister  Narendra Modi has resolved that every poor person should get a permanent house. So far, 4 crore poor people have been provided permanent houses in the entire country. According to the old survey in Madhya Pradesh, permanent houses are to be provided to 16 lakh beneficiaries, today Madhya Pradesh has got 8.5 lakh new houses. After this, a survey will be conducted again, no poor person will remain without a permanent house. The resolution of providing “permanent house to every poor” will be fulfilled in Madhya Pradesh.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav symbolically performed Griha Pravesh to the beneficiaries of Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana and distributed certificates to Lakhpati Didis in the program “Allocation of New Target under Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana” in Vidisha on Wednesday. He performed Bhoomi Pujan and inauguration of development works worth Rs 177 crore 53 lakh for the area. Union Rural Development, Agriculture and Farmers Welfare Minister  Shivraj Singh Chauhan, Panchayat and Rural Development Minister  Prahlad Singh Patel, Minister of State for Animal Husbandry and Dairy (Independent Charge) and Minister in charge of Vidisha district  Lakhan Patel were present on this occasion.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that under the leadership of Prime Minister  Modi, our only goal is development, development and development. We are continuously working to achieve this. In the coming 4 years, the state budget will be doubled. Every sector will develop. Every poor person will get all the basic facilities including a concrete house. Special missions are being run in the state for the poor, women, youth and farmers. Welfare of all is our goal.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that there has been an unprecedented increase in the area of ​​irrigation due to two big river linking projects Ken-Betwa and Parvati-Kalisindh-Chambal (PKC) and other irrigation projects in the state. What was only 7 lakh hectares in the year 2003, has now increased to more than 48 lakh hectares. Every field will get water for irrigation. He told the farmers that after some time we will leave Punjab and Haryana behind in agricultural production.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that Vidisha region will develop rapidly in the coming time. A large capital project is being made by combining Bhopal, Vidisha, Raisen and Sehore. The master plan for this will be prepared soon. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav made various announcements for the development of the region. He announced that Vidisha Nagar Palika will be made a Municipal Corporation and facilities will be expanded by integrating Vidisha Medical College and District Hospital.

Rural houses built in record time in Madhya Pradesh: Union Minister  Chauhan

Union Rural Development Minister  Shivraj Singh Chauhan, while congratulating Chief Minister Dr. Yadav, said that Pradhan Mantri Gramin Awas and Pradhan Mantri Janman Awas were built in Madhya Pradesh in record time. The first road under Pradhan Mantri Janman Yojana was also built in Madhya Pradesh. He said that today 8 lakh 21 thousand 190 houses are being given to Madhya Pradesh under Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (Rural), and the same number of houses will be given to the state in the coming April-May. He handed over the letter related to the approval of houses to Chief Minister Dr. Yadav.

Union Minister  Chauhan said that a survey is being conducted again for the poor who have missed out on getting housing. Now the government is also providing the facility of self-survey. He informed that now the eligibility conditions have been relaxed, according to which beneficiaries with two-wheelers, annual income up to Rs 15,000 and irrigated land up to 2.5 acres and non-irrigated land up to 5 acres will also be eligible for Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana. In the fourth phase of Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana, villages with a population of 500 as per the 2011 population and tribal population of 250 will also be eligible. He informed that Rs 384 crore was previously given to the state under schemes like greenhouse, poly house, agricultural equipment, drip etc. to farmers, now Rs 435 crore more will be given. An amount of Rs 312 crore 74 lakh has been given to the state under NRLM scheme to make Lakhpati Didi.

Panchayat and Rural Development Minister  Patel informed about the progress of Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana in the state. He said that due to the speed at which rural housing work is going on in the state, every poor person will have his own concrete house by the year 2026. He said that Madhya Pradesh is at the first place in the country by building 46 thousand houses under the Pradhan Mantri Janman Awas Yojana being run for backward tribes. A network of roads is being laid in tribal areas. Public facilities are being developed rapidly in the rural areas of the state.

Exhibition overview

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav and Union Rural Development Minister Mr. Chauhan, State Panchayat and Rural Development and Labor Minister Mr. Patel, District In-charge Minister Mr. Patel jointly visited the exhibitions of various departments at the venue.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav received point-wise information regarding the exhibition highlighting excellent houses in the district. He also visited the exhibition based on orchards of the Horticulture Department and tasted the guava given by farmer  Than Singh.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav and Union Minister  Chauhan observed the products being made by SRLM’s Lakhpati Didi and also obtained marketing related information. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav observed the exhibition of products manufactured by Swachh Sahayata Samuh by Madhya Pradesh State Rural Livelihood Mission and interacted with the members of the self-help group. He interacted with Namo Drone Didi and obtained information about earning good income by spraying insecticides on crops with the help of drones. He also observed the exhibition of the Agriculture Department in the campus.

Rural Development Minister Mr. Patel and Vidisha MLA Mr. Mukesh Tandon also addressed the program held at the old Krishi Upaj Mandi premises of Vidisha. On this occasion, apart from MLA Mr. Harisingh Sapre, Mr. Harisingh Raghuvanshi, Mr. Umakant Sharma, Mr. Suryaprakash Meena, District Panchayat President Mrs. Geeta Raghuvanshi, Municipality President Mrs. Preeti Sharma, along with other public representatives, eminent citizens, villagers, beneficiaries were present.
