Raipur, 03 December 2024: When people of the society doing good work in public life get respect, not only do they feel good but many people of the society get inspired and they try to follow their ideals. Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai said this while addressing the Utkal Brahmin Conference organized in Raigarh today.
Chief Minister Sai said that the Utkal Brahmin Samaj has organized a program to honor various dignitaries of the society. This is a very good initiative. On this occasion, he announced to give Rs 50 lakh for the construction of the building of Utkal Brahmin Samaj in Raigarh. The Chief Minister honored many dignitaries on the occasion of the conference of Utkal Brahmin Samaj in the program.
Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai said that Raigarh has been my karmabhoomi. Many members of Utkal Brahmin Samaj have been my good friends. They have been partners in my joys and sorrows. I keep getting information about social activities from them. They promote progressive ideas through social conferences. This is the reason that people of Utkal Brahmin Samaj are at a better position in every field of public life.
Chief Minister Sai said that there are many things similar in Chhattisgarhi culture and Odisha culture. The love for Mahaprabhu Jagannath is as much in Odisha as in Chhattisgarh. Chief Minister Sai said that education is the top priority for our government. Today itself we also performed the Bhoomi Pujan of Nalanda campus to be built in Raigarh with an amount of Rs 42 crore. Our Prime Minister Narendra Modi wants to establish a knowledge based society and for this it is very important that we provide high level education system to the youth. Along with this, we have also inaugurated and performed Bhoomi Pujan of works worth Rs 135 crore in Raigarh district. These works will enhance the beauty of Raigarh district even more.
Deputy Chief Minister Arun Sao and Finance Minister OP Choudhary also addressed the program. Choudhary announced to give 20 lakh rupees for the construction of the building of Utkal Brahmin Samaj. Raipur North MLA and State President of Utkal Brahmin Samaj Purandar Mishra welcomed and greeted the Chief Minister of the state Vishnu Dev Sai, Deputy Chief Minister Arun Sao, Finance Minister OP Choudhary on their arrival at the Utkal Brahmin Samaj Sammelan. Officers of Utkal Brahmin Samaj were present on this occasion.
