The number of foreign tourists will increase by 30-40 percent in MP

The 39th annual convention of IATO held in Bhopal in collaboration with the Indian Association of Tour Operators and Madhya Pradesh Tourism Board will definitely increase the number of foreign and domestic tourists in the state. A record number of more than 1200 members participated in the event, who will directly or indirectly contribute to increasing the number of foreign tourists in MP. IATO Vice President Ravi Gosain said that the direct benefit of the convention held in Sambhajinagar (Aurangabad) in the year 2023 has been seen in the form of an increase in the number of foreign tourists in Maharashtra. There has been an increase of 15-20 percent here. The record participation in the convention held in Madhya Pradesh has ensured that the number of foreign tourists in the state will increase by 30-40 percent in the coming time. IATO MP Chairman Shri Mahendra Pratap Singh said that Madhya Pradesh is situated in the center of India and is well connected by air, rail and road. Madhya Pradesh has Indore and Bhopal International Airport. Apart from this, Gwalior, Jabalpur, Khajuraho Airport is also connected to major states of the country. Rewa and Datia Airport is going to start soon. Indore, Bhopal, Jabalpur, Gwalior, Ujjain, Rewa, Singrauli, Khajuraho, Gwalior cities are connected by air through PM Shri Paryatan Air Service. This has strengthened the state’s position as a major center for tourism as well as commerce and cultural exchange.

Expansion in tourism facilities

Developing infrastructure at tourist places, luxury tent cities and new hotels at new destinations, continuously increasing tourism facilities will also help in increasing inbound tourism. Expansion of air connectivity in Madhya Pradesh is opening new avenues of development and making access to international markets easier.

Tourism is being influenced by destinations

More than 350 members of the IATO organization set out to visit various destinations of the state. On Monday, they visited tourist places like Chanderi, Ujjain, Indore, Bhimbetka, Bhojpur. Mr. Mahendra Pratap Singh of IATO said that there will be definite benefits from Fam Trip. Travel agents and tour operators are visiting tourist destinations and gaining experience themselves. They are being impressed by the natural beauty of the state, UNESCO world heritage sites and the greenery spread all around. On the basis of their experience, these people will inform foreign tourists about the glorious history, glorious culture, natural beauty, rich heritage and diverse wildlife wealth of Madhya Pradesh through their organizations and invite them to visit Madhya Pradesh. The direct benefit of IATO convention and Fam Trips will be seen in the form of increase in the number of foreign tourists in Madhya Pradesh.
