The mood of the weather changed, there was heavy rain along with the storm.

It rained heavily during the night with a strong thunderstorm. At some places, tree trunks were broken and at some places roof tanks were blown away. At many places, poles were broken due to the storm and electricity has been off since night. People have got some relief from the heat and humidity.

On the afternoon of May 21, the temperature rose to 40 degrees. There was unbearable sunlight and extreme heat. People remained restless. At one o’clock in the night there was heavy rain in the area along with a strong storm. Tree trunks were broken at many places due to the storm. Trees fell. A water tank flew from the roof of a building near the SP office and fell on the ground.

Due to rain, there was water in the potholes and streets of the road. There was mud on the unpaved roads. People’s problems increased due to mud. From the morning of 22nd May the weather opened up like any other day. There was bright sunshine. However, due to rain, there is some relief from heat and humidity as compared to other days.

Kharif farming will gain momentum
The land in the fields became wet due to heavy rain at night. This will now accelerate Kharif farming. Farmers and laborers will now be seen busy in the fields. At the same time, harvesting and threshing of paddy crop prepared for Rabi season has been affected by the rain. The standing crops have fallen on the ground, due to which the problems of the farmers have increased.
