Raipur 30 May 2025: Bastar is moving rapidly on the path of development while preserving its rich cultural and historical heritage. Now every corner of Bastar will be developed and all the obstacles coming in the way of development will be removed. Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai was addressing the Samadhan Shivir organized at Tongpal in Sukma district under Sushasan Tihar today. During this, he announced development works worth more than Rs 500 crore in Sukma district and gave a big gift to the people of the area by inaugurating various development works worth more than Rs 16 crore. On this occasion, public representatives of three-tier Panchayati Raj institutions, Chief Secretary to Chief Minister Subodh Kumar Singh, Secretary to Chief Minister Dr. Basav Raju S. were also present. Chief Minister said that I am very happy to be among you people in the last phase of Sushasan Tihar. The atmosphere here is very beautiful and the beautiful shade of Mahua is giving coolness. He thanked everyone for welcoming him traditionally. Sai said that the loud voice of change from Bastar has broken the spirits of Maoists. Maoism is now counting its last breaths in Bastar. School bells are ringing in Sukma, which is known as Naxalgarh, children are getting education without fear. Sai said that the objective of this state-wide campaign is to evaluate the real status of the schemes. Today I have come to see whether the work of Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana is going on smoothly in your village or not, whether the amount of Mahtari Vandan Yojana is being given to mothers and sisters on time or not. He said that during Sushasan Tihar, he is taking special information on the availability of basic facilities.
The Chief Minister said that Sushasan Tihar, organized in three phases, has succeeded in its objective. The administration has worked hard and solved your problems. Sai said that only a government whose policy and intention is clear can do such work. We have worked honestly, that is why we are going among the public and presenting our report card. The Chief Minister said that women have become economically empowered through the Mahtari Vandan Yojana. We have approved permanent houses for the people through PM Awas in the entire state and ensured their right to a dignified life. We had already approved 18 lakh houses in the first cabinet, this work is continuing. He said that we are purchasing 21 quintals of paddy per acre from the farmers at the price of Rs 3100 per quintal. The amount of bonus due for two years of paddy has also been given to the farmers. Through Ramlala Darshan Yojana and Chief Minister Teerth Darshan Yojana, the people of the state are being made to visit religious places. He said that giving a big relief to the tendupatta collectors, the rate of remuneration has been approved at Rs. 5000 per standard sack. The Chief Minister said that Atal Digital Suvidha Kendra has been started to ensure that the villagers get banking facilities in the Panchayat Bhawan itself. This facility will be started in all the Panchayats in the next one year.
Knowing the reality of the schemes Chief Minister Sai interacted with the villagers who had come to the Tongpal Samadhan camp and took feedback of the schemes. Triveni Raote of Tongpal told the Chief Minister that she is getting the amount of Mahtari Vandan Yojana every month. She informed about the use of this amount in the upbringing of children. Similarly, Mrs. Vedmati Kashyap told that the didis of our group do the work of sewing uniforms. She is earning more than one and a half lakh rupees annually by sewing uniforms for the children of three Eklavya schools. Other people who reached the camp also put forward their demands and informed about the benefits being received from the schemes. “Pratigya Hakkum Mail” will run on Kistaram-Konta route. “Pratigya Hakkum Mail” bus will now run on Kistaram-Konta route, which was once a sensitive area of Bastar region. As part of efforts to provide better transport facilities in remote areas, Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai handed over the keys of the Hukkum Mail bus to the Pratigya Mahila Cluster Organization of Maraiguda in the Samadhan camp of Tongapal. This will provide better transportation facilities to the villagers of the region. Key of Happiness handed over to PM Awas Beneficiaries Chief Minister Sai gave the gift of their dream house to the eligible beneficiaries under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana by giving them the Key of Happiness at the Samadhan Camp in Tongpal. On this occasion, the Chief Minister also distributed cheques of the first installment of housing to 4 beneficiaries. Along with this, the keys of their new houses were handed over to 4 beneficiaries of completed housing.
10 players of Khelo India initiative received sports kits At the camp, Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai provided sports material (kits) to 10 players under the Khelo India Yojana. These include 8 women football players and 2 hockey players. It is noteworthy that 8 women football players of the district have been selected in Khelo India Academy Raipur and Sukma. Chief Minister made big announcements in Good Governance Camp – 230 crore rupees for Sukma Dantewada road, 32 crore 50 lakh rupees for Jheeram Diversion Scheme, 35 lakh rupees for culvert construction in Kavrakopa, 35 lakh rupees for culvert construction in Jaimar, 30 lakh rupees social building in Hamirgarh, 35 lakh rupees for a bridge-culvert in Tahakwada, 25 lakh rupees training center for groups in Tongpal, 16 lakh rupees for C.C. road in Marenga, 25 lakh rupees for Panchayat Bhawan in Ellennar and 3.50 lakh rupees for culvert, 10 lakh rupees for boundary wall in Dhobanpal Devgudi, 8 lakh rupees for boundary wall in school in Sitapal, 16 lakh rupees for culvert in Varderas.
