The industrial development taking place in Madhya Pradesh will help in taking India to new industrial heights: Union Defence Minister Singh

bhopal: Union Defence Minister Shri Rajnath Singh has said that with the blessings of Lord Mahakaal, Madhya Pradesh is moving ahead on the path of development under the leadership of Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav. The industrial development taking place in Madhya Pradesh will help in taking India to new industrial heights. The whole of India is looking at Madhya Pradesh with hope and confidence. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav is rapidly accelerating industrial development, in future Madhya Pradesh will be known for industrial development along with natural beauty. Madhya Pradesh has full capacity, resources and all the necessary features for the development of the defence sector. The rail coach manufacturing centre being started here with an investment of Rs 1800 crore will provide employment to more than 5 thousand people and will also develop the surrounding area. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav has worked to carry forward the legacy of the current Union Minister and former Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chauhan. Where the leadership is excellent, development also takes place rapidly. Madhya Pradesh will be known as a modern state in the country.

Union Defence Minister Shri Singh was addressing the gathering after performing the bhoomi pujan of a state-of-the-art rail coach manufacturing unit to be set up at a cost of Rs 1800 crore in village Umaria of Raisen district on the border of Bhopal district under the “New Identity of Development – Swadeshi Campaign”. Union Agriculture and Farmers Welfare Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chauhan and Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav were specially present in the program. Union Defence Minister Mr Singh said that Madhya Pradesh is rapidly moving towards industrial development. I am happy to know that Chief Minister Dr Yadav has prepared a land bank of 48 thousand hectares for industries in the state and meaningful efforts are being made to set up more and more industries. Internet, factory shed, connectivity and other facilities are being provided to new industrial units. It was a special initiative of Chief Minister Dr Yadav that for the rail coach manufacturing unit for which bhoomipujan was done today, land was allotted to BEML in the month of May last year. The Union Minister said that this unit will start functioning in the next two years.

India is recognized in the world as a strong and dynamic economy Union Defence Minister Mr Singh said that the country is progressing rapidly under the leadership of Prime Minister Mr Narendra Modi. India has been recognised in the world as a strong and dynamic economy. Through Make in India, there has been an increase in the manufacturing of equipment in all sectors in India. After 2014, India’s defence sector is growing rapidly, earlier India’s exports in this sector were Rs 600 crore which has now increased to more than Rs 24 thousand crore. Union Minister Mr Singh said that it is necessary to maintain a balance between development and environment. He also explained the need to promote research in the industrial sector. We killed those who attacked the soul of India based on their deeds and not on their religion Union Defence Minister Shri Singh said that under the leadership of Prime Minister Shri Modi, India will not rest until it becomes self-reliant. Regarding the killing of innocent civilians by terrorists in Pahalgam, he said that Prime Minister Shri Modi gave a befitting reply to the terrorists. We have killed those who attacked the soul of India by looking at their deeds and not their religion. Prime Minister Shri Modi has resolved that we will not spare anyone who teases us.

The project will open new doors for industrial development for the entire state: Chief Minister Dr. Yadav 

Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav said that the rolling stock factory of Bharat Earth Movers Limited will provide new direction and speed to the development of the state. This will bring a wave of development and employment. This project will open new doors of industrial development not only for Bhopal, Raisen, Sehore and Vidisha but for the entire state. This unit of BEML (Bharat Earth Movers Limited) to be built on a total area of 148 acres will be directly connected to highways, rail and airways. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that Raisen is the only district in the state where on one hand there is the spirituality of Sanchi, while Bhimbetka gives us a basis to be proud of our heritage. People from different parts of the state as well as the country are getting employment in the Mandideep industrial area of the district and positive changes are coming in their lives. The country is going to get new momentum through the rail manufacturing unit and power from defense production from Raisen, the land of spirituality and industrial revolution. The Chief Minister said that the state government and the people of the state are grateful to Prime Minister Shri Modi and Union Defense Minister Shri Singh for showing commitment to establish the Brahma project in the state.

Request to grant consent for construction of Defense Corridor Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that there is sufficient land available for the Defense Corridor in the state. He requested the Union Defense Minister to give consent for the construction of Defense Corridor in Madhya Pradesh. He said that we are determined to make Swadeshi a new movement by keeping the resolve of self-reliance in front under the leadership of the Prime Minister and Defense Minister. He said that the state is rapidly progressing on the path of industrial development. The state government is taking forward the Industrial Development Yatra every other day to set up employment-oriented industries. Industrial units worth Rs 38 thousand crore have been inaugurated and Bhoomi Pujan has been done through Regional Industry Conclave at the divisional level in the state. He urged Prime Minister Mr. Modi and Defense Minister Mr. Rajnath Singh to continue the series of gifts for the development of the state in this manner. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that the agricultural growth rate of the state has increased rapidly, the state government is making every possible effort to encourage the establishment of food processing units in the state.

The country’s first river linking campaign was implemented in the state Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that under the leadership of Prime Minister Shri Modi, the way the country has changed its form, positive changes have come in the systems, similarly the face of Indian Railways has also changed. Passengers have got the gift of modern facilities and timely train operations. Under the guidance of Prime Minister Shri Modi, the country’s first river linking campaign Ken-Betwa project has been started in the state. With this project of one lakh crore rupees, farmers will get sufficient water for irrigation as well as water supply for industries and drinking water. This project will usher in a new era of development in Malwa and Chambal region including Bundelkhand. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav, while referring to the valor and manliness displayed by the army under the leadership of Union Defense Minister Shri Singh in Operation Sindoor, said that the world has accepted the valor and capability of India. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav directed the District Collector to provide all possible help to the people affected by flood and excessive rain in Raisen district, get leases for eligible persons and get their houses built, and also to construct schools, colleges and hospitals as per the need.

There will be no compromise on the interests of farmers: Union Minister Shri Chauhan  Union Agriculture Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chauhan said that after Operation Sindoor, the army showed valor under the leadership of Union Defense Minister Shri Rajnath Singh. We are proud of Prime Minister Shri Modi and Defense Minister, under their leadership India’s borders are safe and the country is moving ahead on the path of development. Umaria has got the gift of railway coach manufacturing, now the people of the area will get employment through Brahma project, this area will become a special industrial area of the country. Union Minister Shri Chauhan thanked Chief Minister Dr. Yadav for providing land for the project immediately. He said that Prime Minister Shri Modi has said that there will be no compromise with the interests of farmers. Under the leadership of the Prime Minister, India is the fourth largest economy in the world. To make the country stronger, we have to adopt Swadeshi, we all are with Prime Minister Shri Modi. Union Minister Shri Chauhan appealed to the people present to celebrate Independence Day, Ganesh Utsav and Diwali with Swadeshi goods. He told that on Monday, Rs 1156 crore of crop insurance will be released in the accounts of the farmers of the state.

Madhya Pradesh will become a hub for manufacturing and exporting of railways: Union Railway Minister Shri Vaishnav Union Railway Minister Shri Ashwini Vaishnaw said in his video message that under the guidance of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, Railways has made a lot of progress. In the last 11 years, 35 thousand kilometers of tracks were laid and 51 thousand kilometers of track was electrified, more than 40 thousand coaches were upgraded with light weight coaches and many new trains were started. Today a new pearl will be added to this garland of development. This is a new example of Prime Minister Shri Modi’s resolve of Swadeshi. Madhya Pradesh will become the center of manufacturing and exporting of Railways. This factory will provide more than 5000 jobs. We are moving towards realizing Prime Minister Shri Modi’s resolve of “Make in India-Make for the World”.

There will be an attempt to roll out the first stock in 18 months President and CMD BEML Shri Shantanu Rai said that BEML has taken forward many railway, mining and important projects of the country for 61 years, BEML was started in the year 1964. This company works in the defense, rail and mining sector. Under the leadership of Prime Minister Shri Modi, Defense Minister Shri Singh and Railway Minister Shri Vaishnav, new records have been created in the defense and railway sector. The Chief Minister gave all possible support in setting up the project Mr. Rai said that Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav is the first Chief Minister who came to BEML’s headquarters in Bengaluru and handed over the land allotment letter for setting up Brahma project in Raisen Umaria and said that the state government will give all possible support for the prompt establishment of the project. It is only due to this initiative of Chief Minister Dr. Yadav that the Bhoomi Pujan of the project has been possible so quickly. Expressing gratitude to Chief Minister Dr. Yadav, Mr. Rai said that after Bengaluru, BEML has the second rolling stock unit of the Railways in Umaria. An attempt will be made to roll out the first stock from here in 18 months. Light weight aluminium railway coaches will also be manufactured here using state-of-the-art technology. Special attention will be given to safety and environment in the unit. In future, defence products will also be manufactured here. This unit will become the centre of social change and will strengthen the vision of Make in India.

The foundation stone was laid with chanting of mantras Union Defence Minister Mr Singh, Chief Minister Dr Yadav and Union Agriculture Minister Mr Chauhan laid the foundation stone of the Brahma Project (BEML Rail Hub for Manufacturing) for manufacturing modern rail coaches in Umaria amid chanting of Vedic mantras. A short film focusing on the Brahma Project was also screened. Also, the guests observed the 3D walk through of the proposed plant of the BEML Project and the model exhibition of the new plants. Minister of State for Public Health and Family Welfare Mr Narendra Shivaji Patel, Minister in charge of Raisen district Mr Narayan Singh Pawar, Bhojpur MLA Mr Surendra Patwa, representatives of BEML and a large number of citizens were present in the program.
