Bhopal: Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav said that under the leadership of Prime Minister  Narendra Modi, the inspiring call of Swadeshi Start-up, Make-in-India and Vocal-for-Local has sparked the renaissance of entrepreneurship in the country. Today, India has become the 5th largest economic power in the world, leaving behind England. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav was addressing the Swadeshi Mela in Balaghat on Tuesday. Dr. Yadav also visited the exhibition of government departments at the fair. He also provided offer letters and disability certificates to the youth and interacted with the youth present. Swadeshi thinker  Bhaiya Ji Joshi attended as a special guest. The Chief Minister thanked  Bhaiya Ji Joshi for coming to the Swadeshi Mela.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that the meaning of fair is interaction and it is important to promote cultural interaction along with trade. He said that Swadeshi fair is being organized continuously at different places since the year 1999. The display and sale of Swadeshi products in Swadeshi fair, which started from Mumbai, has given strength to small and big industries. This is not only a fair but the form of mini India is being seen in the form of Swadeshi fair. Here one gets an opportunity to see the folk art and craftsmanship of different states at one place and on one stage. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that earlier our country used to be a golden bird, we were the world’s top economy and our industries, trade, spices, silk and miraculous textiles like muslin were famous all over the world. It is said that the muslin made in Dhaka could pass through the ring of a ring. The British weakened this indigenous strength of ours. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that with the encouragement and inspiration of the Prime Minister, the youth of the state as well as the country understood the serious and far-sighted message of becoming job givers, not job seekers. Today we have more than 37 thousand indigenous start-ups active here. Our youth is becoming entrepreneurial and becoming job givers.

The state’s economy is moving forward with the Regional Industry Conclave

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that we have also received encouragement from the Prime Minister in taking forward the concept of Regional Industry Conclave in the state. Our efforts were successful, we successfully organized Regional Industry Conclave in cities like Sagar, Rewa, Ujjain, Gwalior and Jabalpur and now soon we are going to organize it in Narmadapuram as well. The 250 hectares of land previously reserved for industry in Narmadapuram has been increased to 500 hectares. We will increase it to 750 hectares. In this, proposals have also been received for setting up renewable energy park and other industries. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that investment proposals worth more than 2.5 lakh crores have been received from the Regional Industry Conclave held so far and 2 lakh jobs are expected to be created from them. The Chief Minister said that we are ready to go to every level to make the policy industry-friendly to promote entrepreneurship. He said that to promote entrepreneurship, we are also giving an initial assistance of Rs 5 thousand per employee as remuneration to the industries.

17 medical colleges opened in the state

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that the state government is committed to providing good health and medical facilities to even the last citizen of the state. There were 5 medical colleges in the state in the year 2003-04, which we have increased to 17. Not only this, the number of private medical colleges in the state has also increased to 13. 12 more government colleges will be established in the coming year. Along with this, 13 new Ayurvedic colleges will also be opened, one of which will be in Balaghat. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav praised the Swadeshi Mela and said that displaying Ayurvedic medicines for sale in it is a good initiative. During the Covid tragedy, the whole country understood the importance of the life-saving power of our indigenous Ayurvedic medical system. There are immense possibilities in Ayurveda, so the state government is leaving no stone unturned in promoting it. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that due to the efforts of the government, the budget of the state has increased from 3.25 lakh crores to 3.5 lakh crores. Our target is to take it to 7 lakh crores, so that we can make a significant contribution to Prime Minister  Modi’s goal of making the country a 5 trillion dollar economy by 2027.

Fair is an integral part of our life

At the inauguration of the Swadeshi Mela organized in Balaghat, Swadeshi thinker  Bhaiyaji Joshi said that fairs are an integral part of our life and by including Swadeshi in them, we are becoming economically strong.  Joshi praised the leadership of Prime Minister Modi and said that due to his efforts, India is becoming a world leader in all fields. We have developed so much in the field of medicine and health that today even foreigners come to India for treatment. Organiser former minister  Gaurishankar Bisen, organisers and a large number of villagers were present in the Swadeshi fair. Tribal artists presented attractive folk dances in it.
