The importance of Janapao is no less than Vrindavan: Chief Minister Dr. Yadav
Bhopal: Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav has said that the deeds of Lord Krishna were supernatural. The state government is running a campaign to develop all the places associated with Krishna as pilgrimage sites. The importance of Mathura, Gokul and Vrindavan is the same as that of Janapav. Parshuram ji gave Sudarshan Chakra to Shri Krishna here. This is a historical place. Lord Krishna got the blessings of Parshuram ji. On many occasions, when all the weapons failed, Shri Krishna used Sudarshan Chakra and he was hailed. After Lord Shri Balram Jayanti and Independence Day, Shri Krishna Janmashtami is being celebrated with great pomp in the state today. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav on Saturday attended the “Shri Krishna Parv” program organized at Janapav, the birthplace of Lord Parshuram located in Indore district, on the occasion of Shri Krishna Janmashtami. Union Minister of State for Women and Child Development Smt. Savitri Thakur, State Urban Development and Housing Minister Shri Kailash Vijayvargiya, Water Resources Minister Shri Tulsiram Silawat, former Minister and MLA Ms. Usha Thakur, MLA Shri Golu Shukla, MLA Shri Ramesh Mendola, MLA Shri Madhu Verma, public representatives and a large number of religious brothers were present in the program.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav welcomed the devotees present on this occasion by showering flowers on them and wished everyone on the occasion of Lord Krishna’s Prakatotsav “Janmashtami festival”. He said that all the Leelas of Lord Krishna teach us how to live. Janapav has also been included in “Shri Krishna Patheya”. Development works will be done for the convenience of the devotees coming here. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav also participated in the “Matki Phod” program. On this occasion, a bhajan evening was also organized by the Culture Department.
