The identity of our country is linked to the Indus Valley: Chief Minister Dr. Yadav

Bhopal: Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav has said that the identity of our country is linked to the Indus Valley Civilization and the Indus River. The Indus Valley Civilization developed in ancient times still makes the whole country proud. Emperor Dahir Sen’s struggle to save his religion and culture still inspires and gives us courage. Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi is dedicated and committed to the protection of the country, religion and culture. Bhopal is the holy land of Saint Hirdaram, according to the saint tradition, we believe in the principle of “live and let live” and also practice the feeling of love for all living beings. Following these values, the Sindhi community left their home, family and business for the protection of their religion and culture. While facing struggle and challenges, they also reestablished themselves with their hard work and self-confidence. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav was addressing the Cheti Chand Mahotsav and Pratibha Samman ceremony organized at Sindhu Bhawan. The program was presided over by MLA Shri Bhagwan Das Sabnani. Officials of Madhya Pradesh Sindhu Bhawan Trust were present on this occasion.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that with its ability, competence and continuous hard work, the Sindhi community has achieved many achievements in the world of trade and industry. The state government is committed to the expansion of industrial activities and entrepreneurship at the local level in the state, and every possible effort is being made in this direction. Policies and procedures have been simplified and facilitated for setting up industries and conducting business activities. Industries are being encouraged to increase employment opportunities in the state. Trade and industry are the main means of providing employment. Industrialists and businessmen are being invited for investment from other states and abroad as well. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav appealed to the brothers of the Sindhi community to take initiative to expand trade and industrial activities in the state and said that the state government is ready for every possible cooperation in this direction.
MLA Shri Bhagwandas Sabnani urged Chief Minister Dr. Yadav to include the stories of Raja Dahir Sen, Sant Kanwar Das and Martyr Hemu Kalani in the school curriculum, install the statue of Martyr Hemu Kalani in the cities with a majority of Sindhi community in the state, provide land for a Sindhi museum and increase the budget of the Sindhi Academy.
