Cooperative Minister Vishwas Kailash Sarang inspected the Chhath Puja Surya Kunds built at various places under Narela Assembly on Saturday in connection with the preparations for the grand festival of public faith Chhath Puja. Minister Shri Sarang inspected the Chhath Puja sites being prepared at Anna Nagar Branch Ground, Subhash Nagar Durga Temple, Ektapuri Park, Rajendra Nagar, Sanjeev Nagar. Minister Shri Sarang gave necessary guidelines to the officials regarding the cleanliness, hygiene, arrangement of pure water and adequate lighting of the water ponds and the convenience and safety of Chhath devotees. He also announced to install floating fountains to enhance the beauty of Chhath Kunds. Mayor Mrs. Malti Rai, officials of Municipal Corporation, Revenue, Electricity and Police Department were also present during the inspection.
Chhath Puja will be held with grandeur
Minister Shri Sarang said that every year the festival of Chhath is celebrated with great joy and enthusiasm in Narela Assembly. In Narela Vidhan Sabha, the ghats have been expanded by constructing Surya Kunds for Chhath Puja. He said that arrangements are being made keeping in mind the convenience and safety of the devotees at the Chhath Ghats during the puja, for this the concerned officials have been instructed. After complete preparations, Chhath Puja will be performed with grandeur at the places of worship.
Floating fountains will be installed in Chhath Puja Kunds
Minister Shri Sarang announced the installation of floating fountains for the beautification of Chhath Kunds. He said that floating fountains will be installed for the purpose of upgradation and beautification of Chhath Kunds. Making good use of Chhath Puja Kunds, floating fountains will be installed in them. These fountains will be removed from the Kund at the time of worship. They will be installed back after the puja.
Temporary changing rooms will be installed for the convenience of women
Minister Shri Sarang said that on the occasion of Chhath Puja, a large number of women of the area participate in the puja. In such a situation, temporary changing rooms will be set up near Chhath Ghats for the convenience of women. Along with this, mobile toilets will also be arranged by the Municipal Corporation. He said that the work of repairing and cleaning the Surya Kunds of the area is being done rapidly for Chhath Puja. At the same time, special attention is being paid to ensure that the devotees do not face any kind of inconvenience.
Surya Kunds have been built for Chhath Puja
It is noteworthy that every year in Narela Assembly, the great festival of worship of Chhath Maiya and Lord Surya Dev, ‘Chhath Puja’ is celebrated with great joy and enthusiasm. A large number of citizens of Bhojpuri society reside in Narela Assembly, due to which the importance of this festival increases even more. In view of the faith of the citizens, Surya Kunds have been constructed at various places in the area for Chhath Puja. After reaching there, the women of the area complete their fast by offering Arghya to Lord Bhaskar with full faith, devotion and devotion.
