Bhopal: Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav has said that the objective of the state government is to establish a good system to make the life of the common man easy. The successful implementation of this intention depends on the employees of the government, in this sense the employees of the state are true Karma Yogis. Our state is moving ahead on the path of public welfare and development only due to the hard work and dedication of the employees. Madhya Pradesh has been included among the leading states of the country in the implementation of public welfare schemes due to the dedication of the employees. The employees of the state are working to build a bridge between the government and the public like Naal and Nile. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav was addressing the felicitation ceremony of Madhya Pradesh State Employees Union at Ravindra Bhawan. Madhya Pradesh State Employees Union felicitated Chief Minister Dr. Yadav at Ravindra Bhawan for the employee-friendly decisions taken by him last month. The members of the Employees Union presented Angavastram and applied Tilak to Chief Minister Dr. Yadav. Along with this, he was also presented with a shawl, coconut and a souvenir. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav was felicitated by the Employees Union by garlanding him with huge garlands. After lighting the lamp, Chief Minister Dr. Yadav inaugurated the program by garlanding the picture of Maa Saraswati and former senior labor leader Late Dattopant Thengadi. On this occasion, MLA Shri Bhagwandas Sabnani, State President of Madhya Pradesh State Employees Union Shri Hemant Shrivastava and General Secretary Shri Jitendra Singh were specially present.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav announced acceptance of the demand of the Employees Union to provide the benefit of health insurance scheme to the employees. He said that under the leadership of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, the state government is committed to employee welfare. Following the central government, the double engine government of the state has decided to make the dearness allowance of the employees of the state equal to that of the Center. Along with this, the demand of house rent allowance pending for 9 years has also been fulfilled. Along with this, keeping in view the convenience of officers-employees and their families, transfer policy has been implemented in the state.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that the state government had promised to solve the pending problems of the employees. All the problems have been resolved in a systematic manner. Special campaigns are being conducted for recruitment on vacant posts. All the posts in the police have been filled. Along with this, approval for police bands has been given in all the districts. The process of filling the vacant posts by conducting the Public Service Commission examination every year is being ensured. For the convenience of government employees, arrangements for government housing are being made on priority. Bus service is also going to start for public transport in the state.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that 3000 new houses built in New Market were inaugurated and allotted to the employees. This is an effort to make the life of the employees more comfortable. Similarly, approval was given to provide the benefit of insurance cover of Pradhan Mantri Jeevan Jyoti Bima and Pradhan Mantri Suraksha Bima Yojana to Anganwadi workers, Mini Anganwadi workers, assistants. On the initiative of Prime Minister Shri Modi, the security cover of health insurance is being made available to most of the countrymen. In this sequence, Chief Minister Dr. Yadav also announced to accept the demand of employees regarding health insurance.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that employment opportunities are increasing due to the expansion of industrial activities in the state. The state government is providing special incentives to employment-oriented industries. The target is to increase milk production from 9 percent to 20 percent in the state. Many activities are being conducted in the state for the betterment of the four categories set by Prime Minister Shri Modi, youth- women- farmers- poor. The condition of electricity, water, roads and infrastructure in the state is better than many states. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav expressed his gratitude to the employees for the felicitation and expressed confidence that the government and the employees will continue to work as a team for the betterment of the lives of the people of the state.
