A delegation from the Char Dham Tirth Purohit Mahapanchayat met with Chief Minister Dhami to express their gratitude for the winter pilgrimage initiative. They believe that promoting the winter pilgrimage sites in Char Dham and other religious places in the state will provide a better experience for pilgrims and create new job opportunities for local people. They also believe it will strengthen the state’s economy and help preserve its cultural heritage. The winter Char Dham pilgrimage has officially begun. Chief Minister Dhami inaugurated the pilgrimage and instructed officials to strengthen security measures along the pilgrimage routes. The meeting also decided to offer a 25% discount on GMVN hotels during the winter season.
