The corporation made people aware about dengue by running a campaign called Dry Day and Cleanliness Apnao Bimari Bhagao
Raipur – Today, the health department of Raipur Municipal Corporation, as per the orders of Raipur District Collector Dr. Gaurav Kumar Singh and the instructions of Raipur Municipal Corporation Commissioner Abinash Mishra, ran a campaign called Dry Day and Cleanliness Apnao Bimari Bhagao in different wards of different zones and made the citizens aware about the mosquito-borne disease dengue. Municipal Corporation Health Officer Dr. Tripti Panigrahi made the citizens aware about dengue in the settlements of Kali Mata Ward area of Municipal Corporation Zone 3 under the leadership of Ward Councilor Amitesh Bhardwaj and in the presence of Zone 3 Zone Health Officer Mr. Umesh Namdev. People were asked to empty the water from window coolers by going door to door and anti-larva treatment was done in it. Anti-larva treatment was done in the settlements. Citizens were appealed to not let water accumulate anywhere in and around their homes, for this, pay special attention to cleanliness. Dengue mosquitoes breed in stagnant clean water. Use mosquito nets while sleeping and wear full-sleeved clothes. Sprinkle Mobil oil or burnt lamp oil in the drains from time to time, so that mosquito larvae do not breed in the drain. Health Officer Dr. Tripti Panigrahi appealed to get health benefits by immediately going to the nearest government hospital and getting examined by a doctor in case of fever.
