Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav said that today the feeling of patriotism and pride for the country is getting stronger in the minds of the people of the nation. This has been possible as a result of the leadership qualities of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi. Today the dignity and reputation of India is increasing in the whole world. On the auspicious occasion of Republic Day, he paid humble tribute to the martyred patriots and all the fighters for the freedom of the nation. He said that today is also the day to express gratitude to the makers of the Constitution. Our Constitution, along with pride and self-respect, also makes us aware of our rights and duties.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that in one year, along with the all-round development of the state, the works done in the interest of the people of the state with public cooperation are making Madhya Pradesh known as a developed state. The credit for this achievement goes to the approximately eight and a half crore citizens of the state, who have been the architects of this identity. As per the vision of Prime Minister Shri Modi, our journey of developing Madhya Pradesh for a developed India is continuing.
Through Constitution Day, our nation celebrates the glory of the Constitution as a festival. The 76th Republic Day celebrations were celebrated with fervour, enthusiasm and patriotism. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav hoisted the flag at the Nehru Stadium in Indore in an atmosphere full of enthusiasm with zeal and passion. He took the salute of the parade. On this occasion, various government departments also took out attractive and picturesque tableaux. School children presented colourful cultural programmes. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav extended his heartfelt greetings and best wishes to everyone on the auspicious occasion of India’s 76th Republic Day. The Chief Minister also honoured freedom fighters by presenting them shawls and Shriphal.
19 platoons presented an attractive parade amidst unprecedented enthusiasm
There was an atmosphere of unprecedented enthusiasm filled with patriotism during the 76th Republic Day celebrations. 19 platoons presented an attractive parade in the ceremony. After hoisting the national flag, Chief Minister Dr. Yadav inspected the entire parade from an open jeep. He also got introduced to the parade commanders. During the parade, celebratory firing was done by the armed parties. The open sky was filled with the three colors of the tricolor. The parade in the ceremony was led by Parade Commander IPS Shri Aditya Singharia. The BSF band filled the entire atmosphere with patriotism by playing national tunes filled with the spirit of patriotism.
Spectacular tableaus were presented by 18 departments
In the Republic Day celebrations, government departments took out beautiful tableaux based on the state government’s schemes and programs. These mainly included the Indore Municipal Corporation’s reducing, reusing and recycling of waste under the Swachh Bharat Mission so that carbon emissions can be reduced. In the celebrations, tableaux were taken out showing the benefits of government schemes of Khajrana Ganesh Temple, Education Department, Agriculture Department, Indore District Panchayat, Health Department, Transport Department, Police Department, Metro Rail, Udyog Vikas Nigam, Central Jail, District Trade Industry Center, Women and Child Development, Forest Department, Indore Development Authority, ITI and Horticulture Department.
Colourful cultural programmes were presented
Children from three schools presented cultural programmes based on nationalism, patriotism, unity and goodwill in the Republic Day celebrations. Girls of CM Rise School Ahilya Ashram No. 02 gave a colourful presentation based on national songs, filled with the spirit of patriotism. Children of Maa Umiya Devi Patidar Kanya School Rau gave a captivating presentation based on folk dances and folk songs of different states. Children of Delhi Public School gave a colourful presentation on songs filled with patriotism, courage and national spirit.

During the ceremony, platoons were awarded for presenting excellent parade. In “A” category, first prize was given to 15th Corps Special Armed Force and second prize to Border Security Force. In “B” category, first prize was given to NCC and second prize to District Traffic Police Force. In “C” category, first prize was given to Srijan and second prize to Red Cross. In cultural programs, Delhi Public School got first place, Maa Umiya Devi Patidar Girls School Rau got second place and Ahilya Ashram No. 02 got third place. Similarly, in tableaux, first prize was given to Nagar Nigam, second prize to Industrial Centre Development Corporation and third prize to Central Jail. In the main ceremony, officers-employees, voluntary organizations, Swachhatamitras etc. who did excellent work in departmental works throughout the year were specially awarded.
MP Shri Shankar Lalwani, Mayor Shri Pushyamitra Bhargava, MLA Shri Madhu Verma, Shri Golu Shukla, Shri Gaurav Randive, District Panchayat President Smt. Reena Malviya, Divisional Commissioner Shri Deepak Singh, Inspector General of Police Shri Anurag along with a large number of government officers-employees, public representatives and school children were present in the ceremony.
