U K Dhalendra, Chief Executive Engineer, Urban Bodies Department, today inspected Chandandih STP, Sarona Trenching Ground as well as the work of collecting wet and dry waste separately within the city. They seemed satisfied with the ongoing work at most places. Some guidelines were also given there.
Executive Engineers of Raipur Municipal Corporation, Raghumani Pradhan and Yogesh Kadu were also present with him. Shri Dhalendra first visited Chandandih STP. After this he reached Sarona trenching ground to inspect. He gave instructions to dispose of the garbage here as soon as possible. Thereafter, he observed the work of collecting dry and wet waste separately in Om Society of Sunder Nagar. He said that dry and wet waste should be collected separately from every house in the city. So that their segregation can be done properly. During this, Shri Dhalendra, Health Officer of the Corporation, Dr. Trupti Panigrahi informed about the works of wet and dry garbage collection across the city. After this he visited Narayana Secondary Garbage Collection Point of Devendra Nagar. Here he said that the work is satisfactory. But such arrangements should be made that dry and wet waste comes here separately. After this, he also inspected the ongoing work at Sakri Garbage Collection Centre.
