Bhopal. Governor Mangubhai Patel has said that teachers are the architects of an ideal society and nation. Their importance can be understood from the fact that parents give birth and culture to children, while teachers make them ideal citizens with knowledge, culture and life values. Education is the first step of progress. It is the most effective way to develop the qualities of equality, self-reliance and self-respect in society. It is the responsibility of teachers to develop patriotism in students along with the qualities of helping the poor, deprived and needy. Governor Shri Patel said that teachers should do their work believing that they are not only imparting education to children but are also contributing to the creation of a developed and world leader India. Governor Shri Patel was addressing the state level teacher honor and uniform amount distribution program at the Administration Academy. Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav presided over the function.
Governor Shri Patel and Chief Minister Dr. Yadav paid floral tribute to the picture of Maa Saraswati and garlanded the picture of Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan. The program started with Saraswati Vandana. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav planted a mango sapling at the venue. Governor Shri Patel and Chief Minister Dr. Yadav honored 14 teachers selected for the State Level Teacher Award-2024, two teachers who received the National Teacher Award in the year 2023 and the teachers who got first, second and third place in the state level educational seminar by presenting them shawl-shriphal, citation and cheque of honorarium. On this occasion, teachers of Ratlam’s CM Rise Vinoba Vidyalaya, who got first place in the world by the international organization T-4 Education for the innovation category, were also honored. Three students and their guide teachers were also honored under the Inspire Award Standard Scheme. Governor Shri Patel and Chief Minister Dr. Yadav transferred an amount of Rs 324 crore for uniforms to the accounts of 54 lakh students of the state with a single click.
CM Rise School is an ambitious project of the state government
Governor Shri Patel said that teachers should prepare children for self-employment and self-reliance along with bookish knowledge. Teach them the skill to become combative and successful in today’s competitive era. Teachers should inculcate moral values like share and care, morality, kindness, cooperation etc. in children. The new National Education Policy is being effectively implemented in the state under the leadership of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi. The state government is doing unprecedented work to increase the quality and reach of education. In this sequence, CM Rise School is an ambitious project of the state government, which is a special initiative to improve the quality of education. This project will be successful in improving the intellectual, mental, physical and social development of children.
The Shrimad Bhagwad Gita is the basis of the strength of the then education system and the pride of Indian culture
Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav said that through the new education policy, many efforts are being made to include and implement sanskar based education in the curriculum. Historically, the Guru-Shishya tradition has had special significance in Indian culture. The result of this is that the Indian society has played an important role in every situation and in every challenge faced by the country. In every challenging situation, the educational institutions of the country have been active and alert in discharging their responsibilities. During the time of Lord Shri Ram, Shri Ram and Lakshman, who were being trained as disciples, also faced the challenges of that time with determination. Lord Shri Krishna came to Sandipani Ashram and became proficient in 64 arts, 14 Vidyas, 18 Puranas, four Vedas and coordination between weapons and scriptures. The words that came out of his mouth during the fierce war have come before the world in the form of Shrimad Bhagwad Gita. This is a proof of the strength of the education system of that time and the basis of pride of Indian culture. This continuity of tradition is also seen in the form of Chandragupta and Chanakya. In the same sequence, Emperor Vikramaditya also established the system by defeating the invaders.
Lord Macaulay made every possible effort to destroy the Indian education system
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that the continuity of the strong foundation of the Indian education system is clearly reflected in all the challenging situations of history. The result of this is that our educational and intellectual institutions, the basis of power and strength, have always been the target of enemy attacks and Takshila and Nalanda were destroyed by the invaders. In this sequence, Lord Macaulay tried to destroy the Indian education system.
