Taxi Driver Stabbed to Death in Tanakpur, Police Investigating

In Tanakpur, Champawat, the boldness of local goons is on the rise. On Thursday evening, a taxi driver got into an argument with a man. The dispute escalated quickly, leading the man to stab the taxi driver, resulting in his death. After committing the crime, the attacker fled the scene. The victim has been identified as Narendra Mishra, a 41-year-old resident of New Basti. According to reports, the argument occurred near the Pilibhit Chungi. It intensified to the point where the unknown assailant stabbed Narendra in the chest, killing him instantly. Following the incident, the attacker took advantage of the chaos and escaped.

Police Investigation Underway Local residents discovered the bloodied body and rushed it to the sub-district hospital, where doctors confirmed that Narendra was already dead. Upon receiving the news, the police arrived at the scene, took possession of the body, and sent it for an autopsy. They have launched an investigation into the case. It is reported that Narendra operated a taxi service between Tanakpur and Pithoragarh.
