Under the leadership of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, as per his sentiments, we are continuously maintaining the order of sharing the interests of the rivers of Madhya Pradesh with the neighbouring states. To ensure that the farmers of our state get sufficient water for irrigation in their fields, sufficient water is provided for industrialization along with drinking water and to maintain pleasant and cordial relations between the states, we are moving forward in this direction by resolving the issues of water sharing which have been pending for years. In this perspective, today we have moved forward for the primary phase of discussion with Maharashtra to resolve the issue of river water sharing. The Chief Minister of Maharashtra also has the same sentiments.
