T20 World cup: Kohli working hard to get back in form
Former Indian team captain Virat Kohli is working hard to get back in form. The Indian team has reached the West Indies to participate in the Super Eight stage and the team took part in the first practice session here. Kohli, Ravindra Jadeja and Kuldeep Yadav sweated it out in the practice session. Kohli’s performance in the group stage was disappointing and he scored a total of five runs in three innings, including being out for zero against the USA. India will play Afghanistan in their first Super Eight match at Kensington Oval here on Thursday.
All members arrived for practice
All members of the team arrived for the practice session as India did not take the field after completing the New York leg on June 12. No training or match was possible in Fort Lauderdale due to bad weather, so the players were eager to make the most of the session. Experts and fans expect superstar Kohli to make a splash when it is most needed and that will be the Super Eight and the knockout stage of the tournament.
