Raipur 18 January 2025: In line with the intention and visionary thinking of Prime Minister  Narendra Modi, the state government has taken strong steps to effectively implement the ownership scheme. Ownership scheme is an effective initiative to empower rural India. The right to property is not limited only to the legal ownership of land and other resources, but it provides the basis for individuals and communities to live a self-reliant, stable and dignified life. This right ensures economic, social and personal freedom especially for the weaker and deprived sections of our society, so making land records transparent and effective is our priority. Chief Minister  Vishnudev Sai said this while addressing the ownership card distribution ceremony organized in Mahasamund today.

Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai, while congratulating all the beneficiaries of the ownership card, said that today ownership cards are being distributed to 10 thousand 850 beneficiaries of 128 villages of Mahasamund district. He said that the ownership scheme will not only clearly determine the boundaries of land ownership, it will also reduce land-related disputes. Chief Minister  Sai said that we are using state-of-the-art digital technologies in land related matters, so that high-resolution digital maps can be made available to the Gram Panchayats. This will help in building better roads, health centers, schools and other infrastructure, which will accelerate the pace of development. He said that the state government has developed “Sugam App” to make the registry processes transparent and work is being done on digitization of documents.

Chief Minister  Sai said that Chhattisgarh has received approval for 3 lakh 88 thousand new Pradhan Mantri Awas. Along with this, approval for 4 lakh new houses will also be received in the future. As soon as our government was formed, 18 lakh houses were approved. The survey work has started in the state for Awas Plus 2024. He said that I am happy to inform that now those who have two and a half acres of irrigated or 5 acres of unirrigated land and two wheelers will also get its benefit. It is noteworthy that Prime Minister  Narendra Modi joined the nationwide ownership card distribution program virtually from Delhi today and provided ownership cards of their occupied land to 65 lakh villagers in 50 thousand villages. On this occasion, Prime Minister Modi addressed the beneficiaries of the scheme and also interacted with them. Chief Minister Sai invited the people of the state to participate in the Prayagraj Mahakumbh in the program. He said that a grand pandal has been constructed by the state government for the people of Chhattisgarh in an area of ​​​​4.5 acres under Prayagraj Sector 6. Free arrangements have been made for their stay and food here. Chief Minister  Sai said that paddy will be purchased by January 31 this year. So far more than 132 lakh metric tonnes of paddy has been purchased and more than 23 lakh farmers have sold paddy. He said that the difference amount will be provided soon after the purchase of paddy.

On this occasion, Revenue and Youth Welfare Minister  Tankaram Verma congratulated all the beneficiaries and said that the double engine government is working with full honesty and dedication. Sabka Saath and Sabka Vikas is not just a slogan but a sentiment, with the aim of making it meaningful, the state government is working under the leadership of Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai. He said that the ownership card is not just a document, but a proof of your rights, self-reliance and empowerment. In the program, MP Mrs. Roopkumari Chaudhary said that public welfare works have gained momentum in Chhattisgarh with the coordination of the central and state government. MLA  Yogeshwar Raju Sinha,  Sampat Agarwal also addressed the program. Collector Vinay Kumar Langeh said that survey has been completed in 1073 villages through drone survey. Through which ownership cards of 10850 beneficiaries of 128 villages have been prepared and distribution has been started. District Panchayat Chairperson Smt. Usha Patel, Women Commission member Smt. Sarla Kosaria, Smt. Sanyukta Singh, former MP  Chunnilal Sahu, former Parliamentary Secretary Poonam Chandrakar, former MLA Paresh Bagbahara and other public representatives along with eminent citizens were present in the program.
